It's incredibly fast and responsive, your media fits fluidly right into your viewport, of course also in fullscreen mode.

A simple controls panel and lots of shortcuts for browsing, rotating, play/pause, toggle fullscreen, toggle info panel and much more is built right in. And hey, it's also possible to rotate videos.
*** File Information / Exif Data Viewer ***
For any of your media you can toggle the info panel to see detailed information and Exif data for example. Phiewer also displays most common RAW camera image formats.
*** Multimedia Slideshow ***
Just hit the Slideshow play button to view your media folders automated with nice transition effects and background music. You can set the interval speed of each slide, choose transition effects and select your music from really cool handpicked background tracks. There is also the possibility to select your own music from your hard drive.
Setting the Slideshow to loop and you will have endless running Memories. You can even play videos and audio mixed within your Slideshow and the music gets automatically dimmed or muted for a nice Media Center like entertainment experience.

Backdrop ambience is a stunning viewing effect. It turns the whole interface background into a blurred ambience like you may have seen in lots of videos on the web.

Ratings and Reviews
Culling
It has the potential to be very good for culling large quantities of photographs. I typically drop a camera card of files into a folder then go through that folder to delete what is unwanted. After a few tweaks this app looks like it could be useful except for one big frustration...
when you have a folder of images open and you use the arrow keys to go through photos it scrolls through the list of photos in the side view but NOT actually switch photos. It is very frustrating. I would gladly drop $5 on Pro if there was a way to jump between photos in a list/folder instead of just scrolling through their names.
Good lite viewer
It's a great lite weight image viewer with basic functions. Slide show, rotate etc. Two things I'd like to have are flip horizontal and verticle and more options on enlarge or sizing. The increments are 100, 200 etc and thar's too much. Should be more like 25% increments or allow custom zoom. But over all it's great a lite uncomplicated viewer.
The review that complained about folder size obviously doesn't get the idea of "lite". 30K files is a lot for any image software - get a clue.
does not work with LARGE libraries of files
I have a folder with 30k files and this app struggles to simply preview ONE image LOL
