Needs Improvement
The app tends to not stay refreshed and I constantly have to close the app out and re-open to get the lock status to update correctly. Hopefully this is resolved in an update at some point.
Doesn’t work a lot of times
There’s a lot of things that need to be fixed on this app. Here are a few that come to mind:
1) The app signs you out after a few days or weeks, and there’s no notification. This causes the lock to be out of sync.
2) There’s no warning for low battery. My lock just stops working and again, the app is out of sync or just stops working with no error detailing the reason why.
3) The fail/success messages on the app have been wrong lately. For example, I’ll add a pin, then it will say something like “Failed to add pin” but then I restart the app and the pin is added.
4) I haven’t been able to use the Add Fingerprint functionality on the app. Error message always occurs.
I think these problems have gotten even worse with the newest version that was recently released. It’s pretty important to have a working app for a lock on a door. This is my home security, and it’s not a good feeling when I can’t lock or unlock the door to my home. I like the lock itself, but please fix the app that controls it.
Notifications with wrong time zone
The notification was received from the app was showed on different time zone, as I lock the door at 4:15pm but the notification will showed 11:15pm, I am at Pacific time zone, which is -07:00, also wish the auto lock can setup with time delay even the door sensor is working.
