I’ve had mine for years and I think this is a good product for Security. I think this is a good product for elderly people.It enables you to wake up to a soft light when you’re waking up in the morning And when I mean the security part, my lights are set to four when I leave they go off when I’m out of town I can control but when I pull up my lights come on great investment

I could not imagine life without Hue. Unless the national power grid goes down for a long time and the country plummets into monochromatic chaos. Only then I would believe that there are better things than Hue. Probably food, and gasoline at that point. But until then, I’ll be enjoying our colorful lifestyle brought to us by fine folks at Philips Hue. And for complete transparency, I’m not related to the Philips family as I have an extra L in my last name, so this is a genuine review.

I’ve been using the app (and a bridge) to automate and control lights throughout my house for years. Most of my lights are Philips smart bulbs or else they’re on smart plugs. Everything works flawlessly and keeping lights on a schedule has reduced my electric bill. Having the ability to turn on a light, in order to get a better view from an indoor camera, is also useful if and when an alarm (from a different system) is triggered.

I’ve been a fan of Hue lights for over a decade and needed another bridge to accommodate my over 50 lights inside and outside the home. I love the ambiance I create wherever I am hanging out! Also love the automation that mimics when I am home while away!Could not imagine not having them and one button in the master bedroom turns everything off inside the home so never waste energy when not needed.

I like when the light turn off when i set up the timer sometime someone forgot to turn off the light so hue will do it and also in the morning i can turn on dim and see where I’m going and also wont wake up my wife with bright light and if we in far distance and we can turn the light on till we get home it benefit us and save electricity bills

Love the lights, and love the many new features that the new app has added, but, in this, the new Philps Hue app, the coming home feature is very spotty. At times it turns the defined lights on, and at times it doesn't. The previous app was solid. Never once did it fail to turn on the lights when I arrived home. I hope this new app will be updated to be as reliable as the old one.
