Philips Sonicare For Kids 4+

Omg so awesome

This app is amazing! The tooth brushes that Phillips Sonicare for kids makes are so affective!!! I used to hate brushing my teeth so much. But now, brushing my teeth is like playing as many video games as you want! I brush three times a day, and I used to brush about twice a week! My teeth were descusting. But now, they are as white as snow! The sparklys ( an adorable character you help hatch it out of its egg) are so creative and cute! I love feeding and brushing my sparkly so much. But, I have a problem. So this goes to a whole different story, and it’s long, but hang in there.
So I got a Phillips sonicare kids toothbrush one night. My brother did too. We got the app, and brushed right away. We loved it, and my brother got clothes and dens the next day. I was so jelly, because I apparently hadn’t unlocked all that yet. I told my mom, and she told me she would call them, so she did. Then the next day I saw my brother go to his achievements and he had achievements, which I hadn’t unlocked either. I was like, how did you- WHAT?!?
And he has his sparkly achievements too! I really want this stuff. My mom told me I’ll probably end up with a new toothbrush, which is fine with me, cause I don’t think my toothbrush is all too happy about the first time I used it and how dirty my teeth were lol.

Anyway, please fix this problem! Thank you!

Amazing! The visualization and gamification incentives really work.

Both my kids love Sparkly and so do I as a parent. This toothbrush and app were recommended to us by my daughter’s dental hygienist after a not-so-great cleaning. My then 6-year old daughter had always been compliant about brushing, but never brushed long enough or thoroughly enough until Sparkly provided a clear visualization of all the germs getting brushed away. In other words, she was trying, but not succeeding, until Sparkly helped pave the way.

My 4-year old son, on the other hand, was simply resistant to having his teeth brushed until we got him a Sparkly like his sister (we still brush for him, following the cues). Gone were the daily battles! He loves feeding Sparkly and making her do tricks. He even reminded me one morning when I forgot, that Sparkly needed brushing!

I really, really love Sparkly, and I say this as someone who is cognizant of the addictive gaming tricks used by the app: constant rewards, achievements, and that sort of thing. In this case, it’s being used for a good cause: I want my kids to get addicted to brushing their teeth. The app won’t entertain them forever, but I think the brushing habits will be lifelong.

Brushing is the easiest time of day

Got this from a recommendation from my sister and am shocked at how it has completely changed bedtime! We've been using it for a couple weeks and the novelty hasn't worn off in the slightest. My kids basically think that their sparkly is a pet! 😂 I think 3 years is the perfect age for using this app, they are so excited about it and every time I need them to come get ready for bed I just say sparkly is going to go to bed if we don't hurry and they immediately listen and bedtime is so much smoother. I would think taking the phone away afterward would be a problem but it hasn't been, I tell them to give him kisses and say goodnight, which they do, and then give it right back. (I told you they think we have a pet.) As a hygienist I have been strict about my kids oral hygiene, but even being consistent as we have since day 1, they still have gone through phases of fighting me and throwing tantrums when it was time to brush. Not anymore! Thank you sonicare!
