Fixes a bug where the block list could appear to reset itself. If a sync failed on its very first batch — for example because Call Blocking & Identification was off, or iOS killed the extension early — the app kept retrying that broken sync every time it opened. It now clears stalled syncs properly so the next one starts fresh. Also: cleaner rejection of patterns that exceed the maximum digit length for their country, and better behind‑the‑scenes diagnostics when you send feedback. Thanks to the customers who reported the reset issue.

Friendlier iCloud sync status. If sync was briefly interrupted (Airplane Mode, a dropped connection), the About screen used to show a confusing "CKErrorDomain error 2" message. It now simply says iCloud is reconnecting and confirms that your patterns and call blocking continue to work on this device: iCloud picks up where it left off automatically.

Fixes a freeze on iOS 26 when adding a new pattern. Tapping Custom Pattern, Neighbor Spoofing, or any of the area-code/exchange templates could lock up the app — every option now opens correctly. Thanks to the customers who reported it.

iCloud Backup & Sync Your block patterns are now automatically backed up to iCloud and synced across your devices. Phone Pattern Blocker now automatically detects and recovers when iOS resets its call blocking database (something that can happen silently after software updates or device restarts). Previously, the app would still show your patterns as synced even though blocking had stopped working. Now, periodic background checks verify your block list is intact and automatically re-sync if needed, so your protection stays active without you ever having to open the app. This version also raises the upper limit to One Billion numbers! Fixed a bug where syncing could get stuck at 0% for patterns that generate a large number of non-contiguous phone numbers (e.g. patterns with wildcards followed by fixed digits like 1415XXXXX00). Phone pattern blocker is now more capable of blocking a wider range of phone number patterns! The takes a pattern and generates every single number to add to your phone block list. Previously, the app could only handle generating a few thousand numbers at a time. The algorithm to generate block lists has been rewritten, and the app can now block any phone pattern you set (up to one million numbers).

Version 1.0.3 fixes a bug that would prevent any calls from being added to the block list when iOS asks for a full list of numbers.

This update fixes a bug when blocking large quantities of phone numbers! Version 1.0 had a bug that used too much memory in the CallKit blocking extension. That version loaded every number into memory, and it crashed when it went above a threshold of about 1,000. This version more efficiently keeps your block list up to date no matter how many blocked numbers you add.
