If you’re the kind of person who leaves your iPhone in a pocket or purse placed inconveniently across the room, you’ll appreciate the ability to make outgoing call with your Mac.
Thanks to the new features of iOS 8.1 and Yosemite, you can initiate calls from your Mac to other persons. The call will look like it's coming from your iPhone, but you'll be chattering away with your Mac's built-in microphone and speakers.
PhonePad is a super simple to use app to make phone calls without picking up your iPhone, right from OSX Yosemite (and above).
Note: for this to work you have to configure both your Mac and iPhone to use Facetime. For more informations you can use the Help book inside the app.

Absolutely Refuses to Work!
No data to interact with. Stares at you with a keypad that takes the entered number and then refuses to do ANYTHING! No notes, no help, No good and a graveyard monument to my $0.99.
The "support" link give you a dead graphic. No links or text entry anywhere. It's a joke and an insult.

I don’t like over paying for an app over and over again. I don’t want to spend 50.00 a month (for 20 apps) to use needed apps. My budget will not allow it. Basically I will be "buying" an app for big bucks over time instead of a reasonable fee one time fee which I could save up or stagger buying over time. Many app store users are on limited income/SSI/SNAP. Allow me to prepay a year or still offer a one time cost for several years at a reasonable price. If you lock out my already paid for App; I will fight you. I will not be abused.
