keeps crashing if you want to use large texts, its only good for 1 or 2 sentences. but of you are planning to use it for whole pages, good luck

I am hoping to study linguistics to become an ESL teacher, so I'm hoping this app will help me as a student as well as helping my students after I start teaching.It just takes some getting used to. When I transcribed my first text, I thought nothing had happened until I noticed that the transcribed text appears on the right side intermixed with the non-transcribed text. I like that I can make the fonts larger because the text is rather hard to read in its default font size.

I'm pretty ninja with IPA. I'm actually really ninja with IPA. But I still use this app.It saves a bit of time with larger speech samples… just: - transcribe the sample as it should be, - copy pasta into phoneticizer, - double check the phonetic transcription, - markup all you're errors real quick, Congratulations. you beat the system. The app's not perfect… It separates each word in the phonetic transcription, which obviously isn't the way things work. I've noticed little errors here and there as well. Just keep your eyes on what it gives you.
