Much better

It has definitely improved a lot and I really enjoy using Collart, for some of my business project needs. I will like to make a suggestion in regards of adding more variety of templates, graphics, and business categories as far as marketing tools. So far I recommend it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

If I could give it zero stars I would. Whoever green-lit this app has to be a sketchy businessman looking to make as much profit possible for the worst service they could offer. It cast 43$ to initially even use the software which was an accident in itself, you only get the option a 3 day free trial or buying it flat out and it doesn’t give you the option to explore around. Had I know that prior I would have not tried to download. It’s just an expensive face swap. Most of their templates aren’t for POC, grossly uninclusive and I’m appalled as a woman of color. Simply just takes your photo, changes your skin tone to match the white model and you’re expected to take it as it is. I was also unaware (because it is not advertised) was a limit as to how many photos you can try so after a few attempts to get what I was needing I was met with a messages asking for MORE money to get a “bundle” of either 10 or 30 pictures and you have to pay for those as well SEPARATELY which makes no sense after spending over 40$ to even use the technology. Thought it would be a fun little app I could play around on and make silly pictures but no, waste of money I wish I could get back because this isn’t useful for me as a woman of color unless I want to be a black Barbie or black Spider-Man

Deceiving

The app doesn't offer any of the features in its advertising, at least not at the sophisticated level it claimed to. It's laughable actually. For example, their advertising shows the capability to change the clothes in your photo from say, street wear to business casual. It's not true. Instead, there are cheap templates that change the color of what you're wearing in the picture, but even then sometimes your original clothing will still seep through. I didn't find it useful for even filtering pictures, it's all very basic. I'd say the creator needs to go back to the drawing board and stop charging anything until it's what it says it is.

Not for me

Maybe others have had better luck but this did not work for me. I uploaded a single photo (compared to other apps where you upload upwards of 12). App usability is not very straight forward, I used 2 of 10 “images” just to figure out what was going on. If the developers could add a counter at the top, then you could see when you needed to stop playing before you are met with a “pay us more money!” type pop up.

As for results.. who or what is happening? If you select a female with blonde hair, your (distorted) face is put on her body with blonde hair. If you select someone with a darker complexion, then your (distorted) face is put on their body, with their hair, and - your complexion is darkened!

If you’re going to do that, you need a much larger variety of “models” to use, or give a free trial. PS, I never found a someone that looked similar enough to me, so I settled for someone with light-medium complexion and dark hair.

Very disappointed. If I could force a refund I would.

Let’s you try one image and THATS IT!

So trying to get to understand how to use it and I was only able to load one picture on the couples AI photo generator. When I went to go, add the second image, it would not let me without paying for a subscription or a minimum of 10 photos. so I deleted the app and re-download it having a better understanding of how it was used and it would not let me load a single picture, so I never received one image in full edited. This may be a great product but as for introductory options, it’s horrible so much for building a fan base.

When editing, you can add or remove the required faces through the face swap panel located at the bottom right, then proceed to generate the image. Deceiving and Racist

I would like a refund for my recent purchase of $3.99. I ordered business AI headshots and I am a dark haired black woman and was given AI generated photos of a blonde white woman. I’m deeply offended and find it extremely racist that I was made into a completely different racial group than what I am. These pictures look nothing like me.

Regarding the skin tone issue, we suggest trying with example images that closely match your skin tone. We offer effects for different skin tones and are actively expanding these choices to be more inclusive. Please contact Apple customer service for a refund, as we don’t handle transactions directly. It is not for people of color.

I’m a light/medium brown woman. It has lightened my skin that I look like a white woman or someone of Asian descent. I gave it a few tries and no matter what; it turns me into another race. Thankfully they have a trial period unlike the others which id give a half of a star to. They are only getting this one star because I have to.

I don’t want to hear no excuses, Black people have existed since the beginning of time there is no excusing white washing especially in this age of technology 0 stars. Glad I didn’t waste my money.

Worth the $

So far this app is amazing and what I have been looking for! I am using on my slow service phone carrier and I am able to enjoy without having connection disruptions! Just Amazing backgrounds and edits! I am positive my items are going to sale when I post them now.

Not what I thought

I wanted to use the free trial but I need up having to pay over 40 just to try it. Huge mistake. I was appalled when I chose type of photo I wanted… I thought if I chose LinkedIn for example it would change it to resemble me. That was not the case. I was infuriated that some of my facial features were just copied to the model. I’m not white and I’m not super skinny. Then I chose a model closer to my skin color and it was still disappointing at how low quality this app is. The app is not an AI intuitive. It’s copy and paste.

Doesn’t work very well

The app doesn’t do much and it doesn’t do the things it’s designed for very well. It basically can just kind of remove backgrounds if it feels like it, make really bad ai profile pictures that don’t even look like the mf in the picture, and mediocre photo editing that you don’t even need an app for. It’s good for designing t-shirts though so there’s that. I’m actually being generous with 2 stars
