After proper backups, you can use Photoman to quickly select and delete older photos or videos, excluding favorites or manually excluding one or more photos or videos.
You can specify specific date intervals or use one of the preselects to make even quicker to hunt down all the images and videos that are filling up your device.

I bought it. It had 1 job. It didn’t work - it finds the photos based on date filters, but doesn’t actually remove them.
