Phototile® by Artiv 4+

I’ve searched around for this type of product and finally decided on Photo tiles by Phototile. First I was skeptical because they are one of the less expensive brands out there. But boy was I wrong. Conclusion, I love my tiles, they are crisp and clear. Shipping was fast. Pricing for the quality is amazing. Customer service was top notch. I’ve read through many reviews and I don’t understand how some people gave it 1 star. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

My first experience using Phototile was good. The quality was not as good as Mixtiles but I knew I could save a few bucks. This time, I was planning to send them to my mother who is not well. While I was ordering them, I was not given the option (at least I didn’t think I was) to put my mother’s address down. I asked before the item would have been shipped through email. After, they shipped them to me directly, the director tells me it is too late. I asked for money to reimbursed for having to shipped them out again or for them to find a way to correct the problem. I don’t know if it was a glitch in the system or not but I find it extremely unprofessional to write to me that I simply “forgot to change the address”. I have recommended several people personally to this app but now I am going to share my experience. Maybe I am old school but there is something to be said about the customer is always right or, at minimum, try not to antagonize them after something goes wrong.

Thank you for used to supporting us. I do regret that this experience has made you not want to do business with us anymore. I do apologize that we are a humane company and we do not want our employees to work on weekends. Therefore, your email that was sent on Saturday wasn't read until Monday when the automated machine already printed out your order and shipped out. It states " Refunds! If you are not completely satisfied with your order due to a mistake we have made or because your Tile(s) have arrived damaged, you may request a refund by emailing us at service@phototileapp.com& and sending us a picture of the damaged Tile(s) and the boxes. Subject to applicable law, we will not refund any amounts if your dissatisfaction with the Tile(s) is due to a mistake on your part or simply because you have changed your mind. "

My tiles came in a box the exact size of the tiles with one piece/slice of bubble wrap the size of a single tile and a piece of paper the same size as a single tile, not enough to prevent any damage. Due to the cheap/delicateness of the foam board, one of the edges of a photo is slightly dented. Not enough to bother my husband but it’s there and we’re giving these as a gift so it bothers me.

I am disappointed with the quality of the tile. The image was great but the quality isn’t for me. If it didn’t actually look like a block of black foam. If something was done to cover the sides maybe I would feel different.

I gave 3 stars because the app was incredibly easy to use, the photos were here in less than a week (perfect for a last minute gift) and just because these aren’t for me isn’t to say they aren’t for everyone.
