Thanks!

IPhone app works great, any way to force the iWatch app to get the credentials/data?

I have waited a while and still says enter data on phone and wait. I did enter the wrong ip at first on the phone, but corrected and the phone app is working, so not sure if that messed the initial sync?

Thanks again for the app!

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the review. Please make sure the watch App is open and at the same time press ‘save and send to watch’ on the iPhone App, after a second the watch App will update. Any further issues please email me - support@carmody.me and we’ll get it working.

Great for casual PiHole users/owners

This app makes managing your PiHole just as easy as the web interface, without repeated logins. Since I live with my S/O who struggles with certain technologies, this is now her means of disabling the PiHole, particularly when it messes with the streaming of her favorite TV shows. :)

Note: I mention “casual” in the title because the API key this app requires to function is relatively significant when it comes to the security of your PiHole, and more generally, your home network (ex: WiFi). By providing this password to the app, you place trust in the app developer as to how this informant is stored (hopefully securely) and shared (hopefully not at all) via the developer logs from this app (logs which most - if not all - apps collect and utilize, primarily for purposes of bettering the app). This app still gets 5 stars, rather than 4 due to the aforementioned inherent trust, because it comes free from the OSS community! Thank you!
