The iQ App breaks the boundaries of traditional music players and frees your PianoDisc system to play endless music. Your MIDI recordings can be played without conversion and you can directly download and play MIDI files from the Internet!

App Requirements:
- PianoDisc Prodigy/SilentDrive HD/iQ player system
- PianoDisc ProRecord or ProScan (for record capability)
- MIDI interface (optional for Pro Mode)

App Highlights:
- PianoDisc's complimentary music will start downloading and installing automatically (go to Settings to download the remainder of the free music)
- Automatically download and install and your PianoDisc music purchases
- Record and play MIDI files

This version introduces several significant changes and bug fixes. Highlights include:

- Push delivery of music (no need to manually download).
- New album view in the Artist and Genre tabs.
- New SD card playback tab for Prodigy II systems (requires BT MIDI).
- New space-saving free music bundle.
- Improved sync consistency.

To take advantage of the new push music delivery system, you need to log out and log back in to your PianoDisc music store account.

Lousy app

This has better volume control than using iTunes to play the PianoDisc player, but every time I go to a setting (like volume or balance) there is no way to get back to the app interface. Only thing I have been able to do is shut the phone down and reboot.

Also, when I put the app on the phone, it downloaded the music I got from PianoDisc via their legacy exchange program, even though I had already loaded it all onto iTunes, so now I seem to have multiple copies and it tells me I am out of space to download music. Well, no wonder! There seems to be no way to sync between this app and iTunes. I may have to clean out iTunes and start over, only loading things I didn't get from PianoDisc. This app seems to be kludged together at best. After spending more than $4K to upgrade an older PianoDisc system with the promise of better dynamic range, I am disappointed.

Poor quality

1. Play Next function doesn’t work
2. Transpose function doesn’t work
3. Change speed function doesn’t work
4. Move forward/backward doesn’t work
5. Pro Mode works sometimes….

Everything on this post was verified and confirmed by PianoDisc. Not sure how these guys are still in business with such a low quality system.

Horrible app.

This app needs plenty of work. I’ve reinstalled this dozens of times and I’ve given up. Expensive system with lousy app.
