Make accurate line calls with Rapid Replay and catch kitchen violations with AI-powered Kitchen Bell! Simultaneously, capture memorable moments: save video to Photo App. In pickleball, you don’t have time to watch feet while volleying. Pickleball Eye’s AI-powered Kitchen Bell alerts you the moment your opponent steps into the kitchen—so when you see them volley and hear the bell, you make the call. A zoomed in photo on the phone provides evidence. (Kitchen Bell feature requires iPhone 12 or newer.) Rapid Replay continuously buffers the last 45 seconds, letting you instantly review close line calls. Just slide the frame selector, double-tap the ball. A close-up slow-motion replay bounces to life. In seconds, you make the call with confidence. Pair it with the Pickleball Eye Phone Holder for a rapid setup and the perfect view down the line—just like a dedicated line judge. Available on Amazon from Pickleball4D. For those who want to save their memorable moments, Video Record Mode writes video directly to your Photos Library, automatically pausing during Rapid Replay and resuming when the review is complete. Let's talk accuracy of Kitchen Bell feature. Two design goals were created with the intent to greatly increase your awareness of when your competition is volleying from the kitchen and minimize errant rings. The first design goal was if a foot crossed the line from edge to edge we can be confident that 95% of the time the bell will sound. The second goal: if your toe is just next to the line, 99.5% of the time we don't want to hear a sound.  The result is that if your toe is just on the line, most likely, the bell will NOT sound. Why? Systems have tolerances and we want to avoid the bell going off when it should not. Three known limitations: 1) On bright sunny days when used outdoors sometimes dark heavy shadows may cause false alarms on the Kitchen Bell. It is the opinion of Pickleball4D that this defects impact is minor compared to the opportunity to use this UNMATCHED FEATURE that utilizes ai technology both indoors and outdoors on cloudy or semi-cloudy days. 2) Video recording are initiated from the the Rapid Review Buffering screen, when exiting to the Rapid Review screen, the video file saves instead of pausing. It is the opinion of Pickleball4D that having multiple video files saved instead of one continuous file should not block the launch of this product. 3) Early and late in the day, long shadows from fence poles surrounding the court may cast a shadow near the kitchen line. In some cases this will cause errant Kitchen Bell alarms. This lasts for about 15 minutes until the shadow moves out of the area of the kitchen line.
