Description
With Pignus you can encrypt and decrypt your Messages and Documents and send them to your Contacts. Simply create your Profile in Pignus, share it with your Contacts, and then encrypt for them.
Because Pignus is based on PGP, already generated keys can be imported as Profile and Contacts.

PGP details:
- a Profile in Pignus corresponds to a private and public key pair
- a Contact in Pignus corresponds to a public key
- when creating a profile in Pignus, an RSA key pair with a length of 3,072 bits without expiration date is generated
- the Online Directory corresponds to OpenPGP Verifying Keyserver (VKS) and Public Key Server (PKS)
- Pignus displays the primary User ID as user information
- Pignus does not support MIME-attachments
- Pignus does not support sign-only keys
- Pignus does not import expired keys
- Pignus does not support symmetric encryption
- when creating a backup of the profile in Pignus, the key pair consisting of private and public key is exported
- when sending the profile in Pignus, the public key is exported

Can only generate 3072 bit keys
I have to use 4096 bit keys but the app only generates 3072 bit keys. If this was fixed I think the app would work for me.

Hello, you can import any PGP key generated in another application to be used in Pignus.
Doesn’t accept secure passwords
The account creation process is very challenging.
While creating your initial profile, it requires name, email, and password.
Password MUST have:
* at least 8 characters
* at least one letter
* at least one number
* at least one of the following special characters: (@$!%*#?&) and possibly .
It's not clear whether the '.' in the instructions is part of the list or just the end punctuation. For that matter, the parentheses might not be valid either.
If any field is incorrect, you are not able to create an account and start using the app. However, the app does not indicate WHAT is wrong in the fields.
I've been struggling to reverse engineer the password recipe. "test8@test" works (not including the quotes.)
No password I've generated using a secure password generator has passed their filters. From this I infer that the following additional rules are in place:
* Password may not contain '"-,/:;[]{}^+=_\|~<> characters.
* Not sure about '.'
* Capital characters might not be allowed
* I'm frustrated and giving up.

the password must contain at least 8 characters, one letter, one number and one special character of the following @$!%*#?&
Capital letters are also valid.
Hope you give it one more chance and try with this description.
We'll make the process of Profile creation clearer in an upcoming version of Pignus.
Great App from a terrific developer
Had a small problem with v1.3 and wrote the developers. They were quick to help me and fix the problem. I’ve never seen such expedient help from any developer.
The app works flawlessly now and I highly recommend this app !!!
