Can't create color

Purchased the pro version and the drop down menu doesn't give me the option to create a color or save palates. Kind of disappointed because there are a ton of free apps that can do that.

EDIT: Every complaint I originally had was fixed except for the one below. Thank you!
— The “drop” icon on the menu bar is also bigger than it needs to be, almost larger than the height of the menu bar itself.
