Description

This PC-12 Electronic Quick Reference Handbook ( eQRH) is a pilot assistance tool for the quick and easy review of emergency procedures and other important recommendations. The use of this eQRH is solely the responsibility of the pilot/operator.

The eQRH covers the versions PC-12/45 (MSN 321, 401-683, not 545), PC-12/47 (MSN 684-888), PC-12/47E (MSN 1001-1450, not 1300), PC-12/47E (MSN 1300, 1451-1942, not 1720) and PC-12 / 47E (MSN 1720, 2001 upwards) and shall only be used upon verification of the specific aircraft, which must comply with the eQRH version selected.
The eQRH is based on selected data and information contained in the EASA approved Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) which is part of the Pilot’s Operating Handbook Report No. 02211 at revision 12 (for QRH PC-12/45 and PC-12/47) and Report No. 02277 at revision 16 (for both QRH PC-12/47E). The AFM has been examined and approved by the competent authorities and represents the sole authorized document for the operation of the aircraft. IN THE EVENT OF ANY CONFLICT THE POH SHALL PREVAIL OVER THE eQRH.

THIS ELECTRONIC QUICK REFERENCE HANDBOOK DOES NOT RELEASE THE OPERATOR IN ANY WAY FROM ITS OBLIGATION TO STRICTLY COMPLY IN ALL RESPECTS WITH THE APPROVED POH AND ALL OF ITS REVISIONS AND TO KEEP CONTINUALLY UP TO DATE.

No update service of the eQRH will be provided. Pilatus will at its sole discretion decide if a software update should be made available. Whenever the update-function of the app shows the availability of a software update for the application it should always be implemented.

PILATUS REJECTS ALL AND ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY for the completeness and/or accuracy of the eQRH. This ELECTRONIC QUICK REFERENCE HANDBOOK does not contain and shall not be deemed to contain any representations, warranties and/or covenants regarding the specifications, performance and /or operation of the PC-12/45, PC-12/47 and PC-12/47E aircraft and PILATUS REJECTS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY with respect to any handling, maintenance and/or operation of the PC-12/45, PC-12/47 and PC-12/47E aircraft which is not in full and strict compliance with the provisions of the POH.

eQRH bug on version 1.3.3

When you click on the CAS message tabs (or any tab in the right hand list) for the PC-12/47E msn 1001 to 1450 section, the app consistently takes you two pages prior to the proper location in the eQRH. None of the other PC-12 serial number sections seem to be affected - all of the links for the other aircraft models and serial numbers seem to point to the proper pages. This is on an iPad Pro 10.5 from 2017 running iOS 16.3.1.

Hopefully Pilatus can address this issue quickly with a new update. It might not be a big deal to make a couple extra swipes if you’re prepared for it, but seconds count in certain emergencies, and the issue can lead to confusion, added stress, and wasted time for folks who aren’t expecting the bug in an emergency.

Fix It Please

Like other users have identified (repeatedly), when you click on any CAS message tab to go to a checklist page, it takes you to a different page. It doesn’t matter which aircraft, or whether it’s a warning, caution, advisory, etc…..none of the tabs take you where you need to go.

This has the potential to be a VERY useful reference, but as it stands right now, it is frustrating to use it. I only use the checklist tabs (after searching around to find them), then close the app.

Please fix this!

Startup disclaimer

OK, I get it. Pilatus needs to distance themselves from litigation.

This app requires you to view, scroll down, and accept a liability disclaimer before you can use it - not just once, but every time you start the app.

This means that if you actually have an emergency, you have to waste precious time getting past the extra actions when 5e information is being withheld.

Poor form, Pilatus
