I’ve been using the app for a while now and it works great for my long term every other day injectable medication, it even had an injection rotation set up. The drug manufacturer had a fine app but discontinued it. I tried a couple different apps, but this one is the best. I’ve used it for a short term medication (4 times and day) and it was great.

For some reason this is the one app that gets me to do my medication logs, mood/symptom checks, etc. The biggest problem I have with it is that it’s ugly but that’s personal preference. It would also be nice to be able to do custom activity names, which seems like it would be pretty easy to implement. Or maybe it just needs to be more apparent if it’s there already.

  • A Great Medication Reminder

    JBULLITT

I have been using this app for a number of years. I can’t live without it. I am bad at keeping track of my meds, time to take and important info on each. This takes care of all. I even take it with me to my doctor’s office. My list is right there. Great app.

  • So helpful!

I take pills 6 times a day as they need to be spaced apart. This app keeps me from forgetting without being intrusive. My only suggestion would be to have a second reminder a few minutes after the first to insure meds are taken on time.

  • Perfect for every other day meds

I tried to keep track of my medication intake with calendar invites and that was not sustainable and I missed a couple days. Finding this app has been a game changer! I’m able to set the frequency of when I take it, I’m able to set a time and a reminder notification (so I don’t keep forgetting), and I’m able to track my medication inventory so I know when to call the pharmacist for a refill. Another cool feature is being able to export my monthly data so I can see other OTC meds I’ve taken in the month and help track that data for my doctors.

  • Amazing med reminder app

I started using MyTherapy at the beginning of the year, and I haven’t missed a dose of my seizure medications since then. Before my adherence was very good, but I’d still occasionally miss a dose. My epilepsy is pretty severe so any missed dose drastically increases my risk of having a seizure. I’ve only had one mild breakthrough seizure since starting using the app which my doctor said may still rarely occur, even if I take my medications consistently. I highly recommend this app, especially for anyone taking medications for severe or chronic health issues.

  • Adhd and busy life: very helpful!

I always have had difficulty remembering to take medicine consistently, or remembering if I took it. Now, my doc and I are on a journey trying to figure out which new medicine is going to be a good fit for a new issue. Each different medicine we try has different requirements- morning or night, certain time span before or after other meds, etc. I’m already taking other meds with requirements. This plus a busy lifestyle with many other responsibilities = a brain that can’t always keep up. I’ve tried taking notes on a note app, but it’s clunky to look through a list and try to keep track of everything. This app is perfect for my needs. Simple interface = quick and easy to use. I love that I get a reminder to take meds at the right time, but I get to log it at the time I actually took it. This makes it so much easier to space out the rest of my meds appropriately according to what I actually did. It also helps me remember what I did in the days before, so if I’m consistently off for a while I can slowly make it back to my normal schedule. Thank you to the developers for a great app! Would love if you make one just like it for me to use to keep track of my kids’ meds! When they all get sick, it’s a full time job to keep track of who can take what medicine, what dose, and what time. I love the clean, uncluttered interface of this medication log.

  • Almost perfect! Thank you 🙏🏼

As a young breast cancer survivor, this app is really helpful for keeping track of so many critical things all in one easy app. With the different medications and vitamins I need to take this really helps make sure I don’t miss a dose and I can easily track my progress. I really love that I can track symptoms, too! This is so important to keep track of, and this makes it easy to share at doctor follow up appointments. I wound really like to see a feature to add in custom symptoms easily as I have other unique symptoms I’d like to track and share with my doctor. I’d also like to be able to add custom notes with each symptom/symptom check entry as well. That would make it perfect for my needs. It’s so great that you can keep track of medication inventory as well so you never run out of the medications you need. Being able to track injections, especially with a diagram, too, is super helpful to me so I can make sure I alternate sides! Wow, I’m able to do just about all I need to in this one great app. It’s also really nice being able to store doctor, pharmacy, and appointment information in the app as well. I wound just like to be able to change the little pictures representing the people to be more accurate and ethnically/racially diverse. Overall, this app is a winner!! - The best I’ve found so far for free with no ads. Thank you so much!

  • Best Medication Reminder App

    @raven

My daughter recommended My Therapy a number of years ago. She even installed it on my phone to make sure I didn’t make a mistake doing so, which is daughter speech that actually says she wanted to make sure I added it & used it. 😂 I have lupus, in addition to a few other health issues. My doctors have always stressed the importance of taking my medication on time, every time. My Therapy has made sure of that very thing. The software designers did a wonderful job of making certain the program works. They also are great about listening to app users in order to make the program better. I highly recommend My Therapy. It is a reliable app that helps me remember to take my medication no matter how crazy the day. It’s February 2024, now & I’m still using My Therapy’s medication reminder. I continue to fight multiple autoimmune diseases, as well as chronic pain, & a few other medical problems. It’s my understanding that this is a program for people in the UK. Well, I’m in the US & this program works great. I believe it will work well no matter which side of the pond you reside on.Update PS (March 2024): I am now able to add medications that are taking as needed, ie migraine prescription & my daily multivitamin that includes added calcium for women, esp those of us with osteoporosis. My Therapy Team: keep up the outstanding work.

  • App is almost perfect but lack small convenience things/features

    GoToSuperCuts

This app is great but it’s almost like it’s still in the Beta phase. There are little things that need to be added to the UI to make it more efficient. For example if you set a reminder to take you medication and you don’t take it exactly when the time reminder is set, you always have to change the time to the current time. So if you set a reminder/alarm to take a medication at 6:00am and you don’t take it until 7:15am because you wake up late, when you go to check off that you’ve taken it, the time auto defaults to the alarm time and makes you have to go into the app and manually change the time. Another example would be that your not able to skip a dose when you long press the alert on the Home Screen. It only gives you the option to confirm that you took it at the alarm/alert time(not the actual time) or snooze the alarm for 5, 10, or 30mins. You have to go into the app to skip a dose or manually change the time you took it. The UI is also a little confusing when you are trying to add new medications, especially if they are “as needed” ones. I’ve accidentally added the same medication with slightly different names a couple times which has messed up the number of pills I have left. I’ve used it 5-10 times a day (I take upwards of 7 meds multiple times a day, both scheduled and “as needed”), now for almost 2 months. The first month I tested this one with the 4 other most highly rated apps and all in all, this is the best medication tracker/reminder app out and would recommend it to anyone over all the other competitor apps. It just needs some dev time on better UI features for the user.
