This has been a great value, I am so happy that I purchased this app. I don't have much extra time, so being able to study when I have a few extra minutes has been a real lifesaver. Well designed, this app is comprehensive and user friendly. I heard about this from someone who is also studying to be a pilot and would highly recommend it to anyone who has considered doing the same. I have also showed this to a few friends who were interested in the idea of getting a pilots license but were overwhelmed by it. After using it for only a few minutes they were more confident and less apprehensive about the whole process. I highly recommend this app, especially if you are just curious about what it takes to become a pilot. This could very well be your first step to flying!
Easy to use and great practice!
I purchased this app for my daughter who is in the midst of trying to decide if she'd like to become a pilot after high school. She's already taken a few flight lessons so I bought her this app so she can get a feel for what to expect. She loves this app! It's definitely worth the $4.99 and then some. I've been helping her go through the questions and I also think it's a great tool for her. This app gives you many different aptitude tests, examples of interview questions, typical psychology questions, and even coordination exercises that range from easy to medium to hard. It's very easy to use and it's great that she can keep track of her scores and keep improving. I highly recommend this app to anyone interested in becoming a pilot!
Coordination exercises!
I'm graduating this year and I've been applying to pilot schools across the country. I downloaded Get your wings because I wanted to get an idea of the kinds of things I'll be learning when I finally pick a school. Reading about tests and drills in a book is one thing-I like being able to interact with an app when I'm learning. The coordination exercises and 3d spacial orientation are cool, I'm on medium mode now and I think I'll be able to try hard soon. My math skills are definitely getting better, too. This was exactly what I was looking for and I'm pretty excited about my career choice.
