A great game from great user and company
You got a front page feature, and you blew it. Tisk tisk
Terrible ad placement! That banner ad interferes with the main UI. The controls are not what they should/could be. The graphics are way too small (although, they look very clean ad well designed).
The overall UX (user experience) is very poor and disappointing.
It’s a shame. You managed to get a front page New Games feature, and based on what I experienced (keep in mind, however, I am only one person. I don’t speak for everyone) you ruined your shot at having a very successful game. At best, you’ll make a few bucks off of initial downloads from displaying the banner ad right away. Hopefully you’ll get more constructive feedback, and you can revisit the game design and UX before your feature goes away and you lose all of your traction. :/

Sorry to hear you had problems with our app. In optimizing the release for all different iOS devices indeed some ad elements did not scale properly. Please know that the banner issue was certainly not intentional and fixed shortly after. With the app originally developed on iPad I agree that the UI hasn't panned out ideally for all iOS devices. In an effort to keep some of the puzzles and obstacles in view, some choices were made in regards to the zoom level that in hindsight turned out problematic.
I would love to hear more on what other UX suggestions you have for us, we still have some releases coming up and updates incoming and would love more detailed input.

Great Game, But Controls Are Awful!
I was VERY excited to download this game, but that excitement quickly turned to frustration... leading to deleting of the game.
Great music. Great graphics. Great story. AWFUL CONTROLS.
The controls are VERY difficult and really hinder the playability of the game. Simply updating the controls would radically change the desirability and satisfaction.
You’re so close... still time to correct before the game fully tanks.

Very sorry to hear that you had a problem with our game. We are working hard to make the game work perfectly on all devices. From your reply I can grasp that either we need to do a better job at explaining the controls in-game or your device/model has issues with our game. The trick is that you hold left to go left, hold right to go right and hold both sides to go up.
It would help us a lot if you could tell us what device you were using, how you are using the controls (swiping, tapping, etc) and what exactly ended up happening we could make changes. We are a little game studio and even though we test extensively, everyone has a different experience and there is always room for improvement on our side. You can reach us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks again for the feedback.
