Don't get me wrong, Pinterest is wonderful and one of my favorite apps. I use it all the time, everyday, for anything and everything. However there’s one feature I am a bit irritated by. You can’t post videos without a business account. I personally don’t have a business, but I would still like to post some videos or edits or whatever I want to on this app. I love how you are free to post photos, me and my friend both love to sketch and draw them share our art across the Pinterest platform. But I also love to make some edits and videos about book characters or tv shows and stuff, and it irritates me when I get reminded I may not post videos just because I do not have a business account. Many people have guides on how to turn your account into a business account or how to create a business account in the first place. But for some reason, it’s not giving me the option to convert my account into a business account like it is to others. But I very much do not want to make a new account because I have had Pinterest for so long now I would want to post videos on my actual everyday account. Not some other account I rarely use. So lesson of this review, if your gonna get Pinterest and think you might want to post videos today or some day, make a business account.

I have use Pinterest for a while now. And I recently started having this problem, and by recently I mean today. I came here to look and see if anyone else was having this problem and I saw a lot of reviews discussing other various issues many others are facing. I am myself and having a unique one and I haven’t found a review on it yet, so I decided to write one. I have not yet found out how to fix it and it’s really irritating. Basically whenever I click on a pin, whether it’s when I’m looking to save it or when I’m just going to have a closer look it only brings up a page titled “More Like This” and the pin I was looking for is nowhere to be seen so I can’t take a closer look or even just see like who made it or who posted it. it’s really annoying as a writer I like looking at the smaller details and making sure that I can see everything that’s going on and just being able to collect my ideas, this is really agitating. The only way for me to even save the pin is to press down and hold on it but then when I go to my account to look at it, it’s still pops up the “More Like This page”. On all my boards, all my pins, and even one I don’t have saved. I’ve tried closing out my apps, I’ve tried shutting down my device but nothings working. This needs to be fixed and looking at the amount of other problems people have been talking about, something’s really wrong . Please fix this.

It’s an amazing app for entertainment and it has everything. If you look something up you’ll easily find it. I love how I can save photos to my phone but it would be great if I could save videos because some of my friends and family don’t have Pinterest and if I want to send them a video of if there I can’t. If they don’t want Pinterest they shouldn’t be forced to download it just to watch a video. If you could make it so we can save videos too that would be great. Overall it’s an amazing app and I definitely recommend it if you need some source of entertainment or if you want to look something up it’s easy to find on there. I find absolutely everything on here and I think you will too. If you need ideas or are bored Pinterest has it. Personally it’s way better than Tik Tok with the environment. I’ve had the app for a good while now and all the time I have seen barely any people fighting in the chat and if your scared that people are going to talk bad about your post you can turn the comments off which is amazing. I hope you try it out I think it’s a good app for everyone all though there is one more thing. I think Pinterest needs to check their ads. A lot of the ads I get are inappropriate or they make me feel very uncomfortable. The ads are WAY worse than the actual post people make. I don’t think they should have ads like that on there. Anyone shouldn’t see stuff like that.

I’ve had this app, and an account, for 8-10 years, and it’s one of my favorite apps! What I love is: -There are tons of pins, covering vast topics, ideas, images, etc. -The boards are pretty easy to search -I can go into my profile, type in some general words, and find what I’m looking for nearly every time. What I don’t like is: -The app refreshes if you leave it to look at something (unless you have one pin up on your screen, then it mostly won’t refresh, except when it’s been too long), which causes you to lose the pin(s) you were looking at (I recall looking at a pin for a door that was flat, round (think a Hobbit-type door, but glass, not wood), and had panels of stained glass that rotated around the circle/away from the lock on the door when you cranked the door handle in order to open said door, and I can’t find it anywhere. I have tried to look and am out of ideas for how to search for it) -When you go to save a pin, the top 3 boards that come up are the most recent ones you’ve pinned to (it used to be that the app anticipated the top 1-3 boards most relevant to the pin you’re trying to pin in that moment) -I have a Screenshot board (that was something added by the app, as an automatic way to save pins when you screenshot them), and now the app doesn’t do it anymore, so I now have to go through all those pins and sort them into their relevant boards

Please fix the glitching and freezing. I tap on a pin to view and it freezes. I would also like it if I don’t see so many ads—it’s more than just every other pin sometimes. Also I will delete a board and then if I try to recreate/remake another board just like the one I deleted I get a message saying, “you cannot make a board with this title because you just recently deleted a board with the same name.” So I just add an extra letter somewhere in the spelling to sort of fix the problem but at the same time this does not completely fix it. Another glitch on one of my boards I don’t have the more ideas option for some reason. Also I had my screen to go almost completely black while I was looking through some pins and I didn’t know why it went black. All I was doing was viewing a pin and the screen went black. This concerned me because I thought my phone was shutting down but as I said it went almost completely black and all I saw was the save button. Also, I have at least two boards that are private and now they continue to show all pins even though I have had them on private for months—the new private boards I make also don’t actually end up being private. Lastly, I go to view my followers and the ones I follow and sometimes it won’t let me scroll to the bottom of the list. I would appreciate if these problems could be fixed and everything starts to work more smoothly.

I love Pinterest but if you’re going to update the app and give me options of things to do, don’t take it away! I used to be able to like pins if I didn’t have a board to put it in. I can “react” to certain pictures but I can only use one reactions option and it’s not for all pins. So now I have a bunch of pointless boards so I can still see things that I like. I loved having the option of sections in boards because if I have a “house work” board I can do a section with the bathroom, the bedroom, the living room, etc. It was a while since I updated and when I finally did, I wish I hadn't. I went to create sections for my travel board based on places to make it easier to plan my own trips and I can’t! I’m actually mad about this. And something that isn’t really a major issue but kinda disappointing is that when I come across a pin that I like and want to see more of, I tap on it. But sometimes it’s just an add and it takes me to a website. Which I guess I can see more by going through the website but I can usually access the website if I voluntarily tap on the picture after getting a preview. This is also the only app that closes out on me. I know it’s a free app and it takes a while to give the app its full potential but this isn’t really a new app anymore. Keep updates!!! When you bring in a new feature, don’t take it away from us! Some of us are (more like were) using those

Ive been using Pinterest for about 6 years (off and on). Back when I first started using it me and my mom would find birthday party ideas and things like that but as Ive grown I continued to use it to feed into my current interests. I have been using it to find references for my fan art drawings and used to be able to comment under the pin with photos and videos and share what I created using the pin. It was one of my favorite features of the app and as a teenager that doesn’t use any other social media, I’m disappointed in the numerous updates that have taken away the actual fun out of the app. This is an issue because the app is about inspiration and using other people’s ideas to better your own. But if you can’t show how the idea actually turned out then your less likely to try it. Therefore leading to boredom of the app. I’m not sure the reason this feature was taken away but I do know that it was a big mistake. I hope they put it back in the next update and maybe the A-Z sorter for pins would be nice too? Like how many things are they going to take away- well anyways Pinterest is a great app for sharing your ideas and your creations and if you enjoy that kind of stuff try it that’s why I gave 4 stars. But to Pinterest please stop taking features away so you can add others it gets frustrating when you like something and it’s snatched away from you for no reason.

I love scrolling on pinterest for hours and getting inspiration for my pins. I always look forward to seeing how my account grows and being able to share pictures with others. Although, recently I have developed an issue. My account is completely gone as if it wasn’t an account to begin with. I am still logged in and can post pins & save others pins to my boards BUT when I look at my following list and click on a account that I knew followed me back, my account is no where to be found. As you know it’ll say “That’s you!” but for me my account is nowhere in the list. My views on my pins have also lowered drastically. I also get notifications of people saving my pins but once I click on my updates page it isn’t showing up. I haven’t gotten a update for almost a week now. I have emailed pinterest twice already and they are doing the best they can but I wanted to post this review to see if anyone else had this sort of problem. To add to this, I did have one of my pins say “copyrighted” so it went against community guidelines but that was after everything started to happen. I hope this goes away soon because I truly do love spending my time on this app and like I said really look forward to seeing my account grow. My account is glcrygirl and i’m hoping that this issue only lasts for a few days.

I’ve been using Pinterest for a while now and I really enjoy it. I love looking at all the cool art people post and it’s so good for inspiration in any category. But-and I don’t know if this is happening to a lot of people or just me-my account is existing…but like it’s also not existing. What I mean is I can see my account directly but when I click on my followers button nothing shows up even though i know I have followers. And whenever I click on my following button they all show up (except specifically my four friends who I’m following for some weird reason) but when I click on their followers, I’m not there. I know they wouldn’t unfollow me because it all happened at the same time one day randomly (and I know some of them anyway). Also, sometimes I get logged out for some reason, and it’s pretty annoying. One more thing: I recently decided to rearrange most of my pins into new boards, but I have a lot of pins, so it’s getting a little glitchy. Sometimes when I move a big amount of pins to my new board, they’ll appear on the new board, but they’re still on the board the were originally on apparently?? Also one of my mini boards is empty, and it says I have 113 pins left in it, but nothing is showing up. It’s weird. Overall, this app is great, but pls fix these bugs, thanks.

So I have had the Pinterest app for about four or five years. For a while everything was good, everything worked and I didn’t have many problems. However, recently a problem has popped up that seems unable to be fixed. I am unable to follow anybody, I can unfollow people but for some reason when I go into somebody’s profile and hit the follow button it lights up and tells me that I am unable to follow the person. But when I hit the back button and go back in I am not following them anymore.

Contacting Pinterest support proved to be a hassle as I either got a bit or a supposedly real person that was talking about issues on my pins that had nothing to do with the original problem at all. I even tried all the tips given, deleting app cache didn’t work, unfollowing pins and boards did not work and uninstalling and then reinstalling the app did not work. I was honestly about to just give up when I finally got a real person and they said that they were working on it and that it would take a while. I have not heard anything back since and even after multiple app updates the problem is still there.

So yes Pinterest has a ton of pins and stuff but when you encounter an actual problem it is almost not worth it to try and contact support because either you get an unhelpful bot that gives you tips you already did. Very rarely do you get somebody real, it took me ten tries to get a real person
