Difficulty signing in

Once signed in, the app works great.

However when entering credentials, the app does not like credentials that are pasted in making it very difficult to sign in when you use passwords that are generated by password management apps like 1Password.

Since the last upgrade I can no longer sign in whether I type or paste in my credentials.

Hi Charlie, thanks for leaving this review for us. It's not great, but it was a sign that we needed to do a lot of work! We are wondering how it's been going for you as we have been hard at work for nearly a year since you left this. We'd be so happy if you could update, good bad or inbetween!

Works in theory, not in practice

Had my new sump pump installed a couple of months ago and they installed Pitboss to monitor the sump pump. Had issues with the app from the beginning not being able to setup the devices. Was finally able to set it up through the manual setup. That lasted for a little bit until I had to set it up again since nothing was showing when I opened the app. Have to set up everything at least 2-3 times a month, every month since then. Not sure what’s the point of an app to monitor my sump pump if I have to worry if it will even work or tell me if the sump pump is not working. Also wish it would save the settings so I didn’t have to load all the passwords and settings every time.

When these guys first launched the app it was a little glitchy in the beginning and I had to log in and out sometimes. But the latest release fixed all the bugs. It’s so great to have a live view of my sump pumps from anywhere in the world. These pumps are rockstars. I called Richtech a few times for short and they were phenomenal. This is like the Sonos of sump pumps. Very modern. Love it.
