Perfect Pitch is a very rare skill which, as per the current understanding, has to be trained and acquired at a very young age, most preferably below 7.
However recent studies suggest that individuals with higher general auditory working memory may be able to practice and improve pitch recognition abilities well beyond this critical period.

Need more than 1 octave displayed.
The free app only allows you to show one octave at a time. I have no idea what the pro version offers as I cannot find a description of what the upgrade really is. I’m not going to plunk down $2 in the hopes of *maybe* getting something useful out of it.

Dear Videlia1, in both free and pro versions you can select multiple octaves. However this needs to done before you enter the Test mode (ie clicking the Start button).
With Pro version, it tracks your accuracy against the selected octaves, and displays them in corresponding colours, above the octave number. You also get a Guest mode that doesn’t tamper with your statistics.
This information is available on the app via the Info button (to the left of C# key) in the non-test mode. Also on our website (link on the App Store page of the app).
