Description

Pixel is Data goes live!

Based on PixelisData.org's iOS and Mac brews of the Pixel is Data application, we designed a little brother that updates in real time: pick a photo or take one using your FaceTime or USB camera, and it will automagically translate to a new piece of art – yours! – that is a reinterpretation of the pixel data contained in the original image. Change the parameters (mess, density, pattern…) via code or simple buttons and sliders to tweak your work before saving it.

Exhibited during the Fête du code créatif, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris (March 2017).

Really GREAT Possibilities!

This would be 5 stars if the controls weren't
so sensitive. They go from recognizable to
completely crazy in <1/32 inch of slider movement.

Also no save dialog on quit.
Program code area needs work. What is it?
Change the Mongolean language to English (it's easy to figure out).

Fix that and this a 5 star program!
