Pizzeria Locale serves pizza inspired by the streets of Naples, Italy in the neighborhoods of Denver, CO. Our dough is made with four ingredients: flour, water, yeast and salt, then fermented overnight, stretched by hand and topped with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Pizzas are roughly 11” in diameter and baked with a hint or char in our 700-degree Neapolitan smart oven. The menu includes Classic pizzas – like Pepperoni, Supreme, Margherita and Veggie – or you can build your own. Additionally, salads, sides and desserts including our Colorado famous budino butterscotch pudding are all available for pick up or delivery. Orders can be placed up to seven days in advance or for ASAP at all Denver locations. Ordering from Pizzeria Locale Boulder is not available. (Please note delivery is fulfilled by our delivery service providers including Doordash, Postmates and UberEats)

Good pizza, garbage app
Sure, I like the pizza and get it regularly. But this app? It nags like crazy for my location—hardly needed to buy pizza. But what’s this? If I refuse to enable location data, the app keeps forcing me to what I assume is a default store. At first, I thought it was user error, but then, I use other ordering apps without trouble. So I checked with a test order and guess what? It borked my pickup location choice without any action from me (and in the location selection, the confirmation part is badly designed anyways—why two taps? Was I unclear). And why can’t I use Apple Pay, which I prefer from a security standpoint. Ordering is also needlessly complicated by demanding I make choices on each pizza instead of selecting defaults and asking me to change/clear/confirm.
Needed upgrades: fix location choice; stop nagging me for my location data, which is none of your business—ask once, then stop; allow me to set a default order location and make sure it isn’t broken; add Apple Pay, streamline options.
Order on the website; this app is terrible.

Thanks for providing your feedback. To clarify, we request your location data so we can find the nearest store to you. You can also change the store you are ordering from by clicking the drop-down list at the top. We do request that you confirm your selection as well. Unfortunately, we are not able to integrate with Apple Pay at this time, so you will need to enter your card details at checkout. Needs some work
Kept suggesting the farthest away location to place an order. Every time I changed it, it would revert to a location 30 min away. Store could not cancel, refund or anything.
Update: they refunded the order and are looking into the issue. Once the location settings are resolve it should be a useful app. I will note that it took 2 weeks and 2 people to get the refund however.
