Description
Placetalk is a voice track to the world, created by everyone. Record and explore location-pinned audio. Whether you are in everyday places or visiting for the first time, the app offers a new way to connect to your surroundings.
Create: In a few simple steps create voice recordings for your friends or audience to find in the location you choose. Posts are one minute or less, making it easy for people to stop and experience what you have created.
Invite people to follow you on the app so that when they arrive at a location they can be notified. All posts are public and work most accurately outside (not in buildings) and within sufficient cell phone signal strength.
Explore: Discover recordings and customize your experience by following the people and organizations you are interested in hearing from. Explore the map and set notifications to alert you when you have discovered something.
Voice recordings can be about all sorts of things.
Here are just a few examples:
-Immerse in the moment; draw attention to the sights, sounds, and details of being there.
-Inspire awe in natural wonders right around us, big or small.
