What I didn’t know I needed

I downloaded this app on a whim as I saw an ad on FB that says it can help track your emotions. I wasn’t sure how emotion-tracking worked or if I would benefit from it, but I was sure I was in some of the lowest weeks of my life emotionally. (I have no mental health diagnoses nor medication but full-time college+work will do something to you.)
While I don’t use all the categories as intended (my “calm/ordinary” days are in reality terribly busy and anxious days, but that’s most often, so I set that as “ordinary”), I have found that visualizing what your days and weeks are like is so helpful (even if I do make up my own key). And the little sad characters . . . at first that design element took me by surprise, but when I saw the little guy fall to his knees in exhaustion, it resonated with me. They seem to really express what I’m feeling. And there is something cathartic about choosing one.
I also love the journal aspect. I’ve never kept a journal for more than a few days, and now I’m at 3+ weeks using the app.
And the piano music!!!!! I sometimes open the app when I just need peace haha.
Anyway. This is a hidden gem in the app world. Worth my first and probably last review I’ll ever write.

Stickers are what sold me!

I’ve had several mood trackers; they’ve been recommended by different psychiatrists I’ve had, along with my main therapist. I can never stick to them. This one is a lot easier to stick to because it’s easier finding a sticker to represent how I feel than writing it or clicking a cookie cutter emotion… I just click whatever emotions are written down (as I have the free version) and make the first word of my “diary” the emotion I was really feeling. And if the word doesn’t come to me, a sticker will take care of it. The free or ad stickers are more than enough to represent my emotions. I got my boyfriend to download the app too, he doesn’t have the same mental disorders as me or anything but it’s always nice to do a little check in with yourself about how you feel now and then to keep track of your day to day fluctuations. Highly recommend! 🌷🦢

Amazing!!!

I’m a very visual person but I needed a way to keep track of my emotions over the week. I have very high anxiety, depression, and ADHD so I wanted to try to keep a diary to keep track on my emotions and what triggers different things. This app has helped so much in one week! I’m a big talker sometimes and I can never keep up with diary’s or journals because there’s no color and I feel pressured to fill up a page! This app has so many colors and moving emojis and an area to write on days I feel more talkative!!! It’s so amazing I love it so much!!! This app was such a good idea! Thank you!!!
