I use this app for measuring properties for Fire Ant services. I love everything about this app except for one thing. Lately, in the Google Maps setting, I cannot type addresses in. I can only use GPS location. I prefer GMaps in this app because it lets me zoom in closer than the Apple Maps setting.
Time for a new app

I guess it’s time to find a new app for measuring via satellite. I loved the free version of the app, so I purchased the pro version and loved it! It worked flawlessly for me for years until I got a new phone. At first I uploaded from the cloud and restored my purchase just fine, but then I noticed the app wouldn’t even open, so I removed and reloaded the app, worked fine….until later the same day when I went to open the app again, wouldn’t even load. So I removed and reinstalled the app again, set it all up again, and it worked great….for that time. I’ve tried reaching the developer several times with no response and now noticed they haven’t had any updates to this app in 4 years. So I’m assuming they no longer put any effort into this app and will no longer attempt to fix bugs

After downloading the “pro” version I quickly realized this is not made for professionals. If you remove placed pin for measuring distance the app force closes and refuses to re-open. Resetting the phone does nothing. The only way to resolve the issue is by deleting the app and re downloading. If I knew if a different app for gps measurements I would strongly recommend using that instead of this. This has been the 7th or 8th time I had to reinstall the app since I purchased it two weeks ago.

We purchased nearly 30 licenses for our field sales team, previously it worked well but a couple of years ago the google map search started crashing. We used a work around, searched using the native map app, started a measurement & then switched to google maps which allows a much closer view. Now, the app crashes immediately upon opening (after the initial use). Don’t waste your money on this until they update it.
