Let’s be honest: an app can't tell you exactly how often to water your plants because there are too many variables. The best way to use an app is to teach it when you water your plants so it can learn the schedule for each plant. All you need to do is mark plants as watered and Ploi does the rest!

The app I didn’t know I needed ages ago

I began using this app when I introduced nutrients into my houseplant routine and needed a way to track usage.

This app has made it SO easy to track many of my houseplant related activities and is giving me more confidence in my plant care journey. I’ve been a plant parent for a number of years now and feel like this app could have given me the insight into my unregulated plant-care routine that could have saved a few plants along the way.

The app is a little buggy. I’ve found that I’ve needed to force quit the app to get it out of a frozen state. It’s a little annoying, but I’m sure it’ll improve in time. It’s so useful and easy to use that I am happy to deal with some bugginess and am sure it’ll improve in time!

Best app for house plants

This is by far the most useful app I have used to track the watering schedule for my plants. There are several other apps on the App Store that want you pay a monthly fee. Fortunately this app is completely free! I love the layout and design. It’s easy to use and it even includes care instructions. Highly recommend if you have lots of house plants on different watering schedules.

Absolutely Amazing

If you have plants, you need this app. Plant names, watering, repotting, movement, fertilization, misting, and more ALL tracked in it. Enter the scientific name & it’ll provide care instructions. You can also enter multiple photos for each plant- great for tracking growth. No limit to how many plants you can add (at least not that I’ve reached, & I’m at 31), AND it doesn’t require a subscription! I only wish I’d found it sooner
