Identifies weeds every time

This app has helped me to recognize unwanted weeds in my garden! I’m a newbie gardener so it’s hard for me sometimes to see the difference between a weed and a normal plant. Now I can just open PlantGuru and take a photo of the plant in question to see if my suspicions are correct! So far I have no complaints, the results were legit 100% of the time. Definitely recommend for those who are new in the planting game like me!

Awful plant app

I paid the yearly fee to try this app. This app is awful. It did not have my drift roses (or knockout roses) and I did enter it by their scientific name. These are very common in SE US. I also took a picture 10 times of my roses with a white powdery residue - it kept saying that no plant was present. After spending an hour with this app, I googled white powdery residue on roses to find out it was a fungus and it told how to take care of it in seconds - not an hour with no results. As to how much to water and how to care for a plant, that is easy to google as well. It is not worth $35 to have an app tell me how much water to give to a plant. I am very disappointed and I hope I save someone else the $35.

There’s alway more to learn

This app is like having a plant-savvy friend on speed dial. It not only helped me figure out what was wrong with my sad-looking snake plant but also gave me a crash course in proper watering. Before using this app i didn’t even know you’re supposed to turn some plants so that they get enough sun, lol :D
