So Charming!

I absolutely love the characters and artwork of this game. The items are so cute and distinct, I really appreciate the effort put in to be able to tell apart the different stages of plants in the greenhouse and keep them theme-coded.
Moreover I really like the way the game is balanced without an energy system- your only real limiter is your garden space, and how you budget your money. When I find myself way too heavy on one resource like Lavender while I’m having to carefully ration my Hibiscus, I really appreciate being able to just sell my Lavender plants to get more crates. It’s a more natural hurdle to clear than being in the groove when suddenly I’m forced to stop playing because I ‘used up my energy’!
Plus, buying gems feels like an option I can resort to if I get impatient, rather than the only way to progress because I can’t do enough on my own. I thoroughly appreciate being able to find them in tool shed crates- I’ve only really used the ones I saved that way, but I bought a small pack to support the game too. :)
I do agree with other reviews that I’d like to see more of the characters, because they get sparse in later levels. I’m excited to see where the game goes from here!

Gets better with every update

Love this game, it’s really fun to progress through and build up stock while waiting for more story to come out, but doesn’t feel like there are any manufactured features that force you to play a certain amount of time per day, or even to play every day. It’s just really well-balanced, I like that any purchase now takes away ads, it’s maybe the first app I actually want to make in-app purchases to support the game. I’m still hoping they add back in the upgrade plants feature, I think that would add a great level of progression to what is becoming static since I’m close to 50, and would help make tools more useful. But really they keep adding in helpful features that I didn’t even realize the game could use, like the seemingly unlimited purchasable extra racks for the garden, super helpful for organization. Keep it up!

** one thing I would change about it is that if you accidentally pin a plant or something to the top, I haven’t figured out a way to take it down other than just crafting/growing it or switching to another, it would be nice to have the option to just clear that top choice

My new favorite game!

How anyone can give this game anything less than five stars is beyond me. This is hands-down my new favorite game. It’s easily a $5 game, and the fact that it’s free with minimal ads (with the option to remove them via in app purchase) is how mobile games should be done. I bought a couple in app purchases to support the developers, because I want them to continue to maintain and develop this game and continue to add content to it.

I only have one suggestion: when we have multiple boxes in the greenhouse that we have yet to put into the greenhouse, let us see our inventory of boxes and choose which one we want to put in the greenhouse. Greenhouse space is very limited and having to discard crops/boxes that we would use at a later time just to make room for what we need now is disheartening. I ended up tossing so many ginger boxes/ginger crops because I was brand new to the game and didn’t understand how important they currently are, which I regret doing and wish I could get them back, especially since I ended up purchasing the season pass.
