I waited a long time...

First off, I backed this almost instantly when it was a Kickstarter campaign. I long since consigned the money as lost/wasted so I was pleasantly surprised to finally receive what I invested in. I just wished it worked properly.

The ball itself appears to have great difficulty with carpeting, getting immobilized if it gets to the baseboard of a wall of a carpeted room. Minor problem in my opinion, can be worked around.

My real problem comes with using the ball at someplace else, like a neighbor’s home. Each attempt has been met with the ball being “inactive” with no way to reactivate it from my location. I can’t even tell if it’s because of the battery or not.

Before you suggest it, yes, I have tried leaving it in the charger when not in use. But there is an iiiiitsy biiiiitsy problem with that. Prolonged time on the charger clouds the inside of the ball with condensation!!

I’m glad I finally got what I paid for (years later) but I wish it worked as advertised.

I backed this product on Indiegogo over 2 years ago and just received it today (July 16, 2019) I believe the ball does what it says it’ll do. Certain surfaces like carpet I’ve noticed the motor struggling but that’s no big deal since the majority of my home is hardwood/tile. My biggest concern/complaint is the god awful noise I hear on my phone while operating it. It rings when putting it in motion and when sitting still it’s like a rumbling (electronic winding with the mic right next to it it makes it noisier than it actually is). Controlling the ball is difficult but when a dog/cat is interacting I don’t expect to do a lot of maneuvering. I give these guys credit for the hard work they’ve put into this product and maybe they’ll release a version 2 with a stronger and quieter motor. Or a microphone that doesn’t pick up the motor noise. Good luck to the creators on your future projects/updates.

Total Scam

After ordering this thing on Indiegogo almost 3 YEARS AGO, it finally arrived. I figured after that much time perfecting the product and putting money into R & D, the inventors would make this thing even better than promised...boy was I wrong. This thing is totally useless. It makes a terrible noise when operating, it doesn’t roll evenly because of the seam on the ball, the app is delayed when trying to control the ball, I can’t see much more than shapes from the camera, this thing is total garbage. The ball overheats fairly quickly and because of the high pitched noise it constantly makes, my dog wants absolutely nothing to do with this toy. This Indiegogo campaign was a total scam and waste of money. Do not buy this thing!
