PlayerXtreme видео плее‪р‬ 4+

I’ve had this app/program for years!! And on many devices!!! This app was clearly designed and maintained to current day with PRIDE!! It simply works and it works better than the rest!!!. They keep it updated keep features working and functionality super exceptional!!! This app is really a joy to use because it not only works, it works worlds better than any other similar app that I’ve tried and I’ve tried doezens!! This app will bring a new life to you’re media. They even add features and tweak them very nicely to current day. I even use it for music because the volume boost actually does boost the volume a lot especially on weak files!! And keeps it clear!! This app is the single longest used app I’ve had that I use just about daily and I have not gotten tired of. This app is a must for quality media lovers!! The extreme media engine in my opinion is unmatched.

I paid again for the newer version after the older one was discontinued. The new version crashes after loading videos and won’t open anymore. I tried to chat with support, but they are not responding. I emailed them, still waiting to hear back. I hope this issue gets resolved ASAP. I loved the older version and I had no issues with it till it was discontinues=d, now I can’t have it on my new iPad. I contacted support several times, their suggestion to “clear caches” did not resolve the issue, I contacted them again, no response. It seems that the playerxtreme does not allow “unlimited” storage as they promise. After a certain amount of files stored in it, it freezes and crashes, it won’t work till you delete and reinstall. I’ve done that painfully 4 times, wasted four days and nothing helped. I hope they fix it soon.

Update: now the app froze and is totally unusable. The app support is extremely slow in responding, and they suggested to use the SAMBA feature, which means you can’t store any data locally the app, you must use cloud and then use the app to play. I ended up deleting the app. It is not worth the $30+ if you can not store data / videos in it, especially if you can’t have reliable internet connection all the times to stream play from cloud storage. I’ll give them a week, if they fix it, great. If not, I’ll ask for a refund. Too bad, the app is great if it;s working, but only disappointment for now.

I’ve used the PlayerXtreme since it launched. It’s always just worked regardless of devices I’ve use it with (iPhone, iPad mini and currently iPad Pro). And there’s never been an issue with functionality after an iOS update.
I can upload and organize my media the way I want to unlike iOS forces you to. I’ve had no problems with various codec formats.
I personally like PlayerXtreme’s ability to download subtitles when watching video. That’s fantastic for foreign film watchers like myself and hard of hearing people (like my spouse (shh 🤫)).
