Pleasant Password Server App 4+

This app is so poorly designed and limited in its features. It looks like someone had some free time and made it as a side project or perhaps a student did it with no experience at all. If you think the Windows client and Web UI has usability issues, well the Mac version will leave you speechless.

My organization used to be on KeePass, whose unoffical MacOS client was problematic with overwriting the Windows client database. Pleasant Password resolves this, and having an app that I can use without having to log in online or use a virtual machine is great. However, there’s really nothing beyond bare-bones entry generation, editing, and copying. I would like there to be customizable keyboard shortcuts for copying passwords and usernames. It would also be great to be able to set a character limit for generated passwords; ours defaults to 16 but I prefer more. The two-factor authentication is also quite stingy on how long it lasts before asking you for a new token. Thankfully, Authy’s desktop client makes this less of a hassle.

This client doesnt have the Advanced Tab when editing and entry so you can’t access attached files etc that the windows and even web clients can.
