Your Reels & TikToks, saved on a map. Free and loved by 50,000+ travelers.
What if your scrolling wasn't wasted time? Every spot that stopped your scroll -- the hidden garden cafe, the speakeasy tucked behind a bookshop -- that was research. Now do something with it. Plotline turns your feed into a map you can actually use. Curate your spots, plan your trips, and watch your taste come to life.
SAVE FROM ANYWHERE
Share a travel post, a restaurant review, a Google Maps link -- Plotline grabs the location, photos, and details automatically. Works with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, travel blogs, and more! Other apps give you a pin. Plotline gives you the story -- the original creator's recommendation, what to order, why it matters, and the source video linked so you can rewatch it before you go.
PLAN YOUR TRIP WITH YOUR FRIENDS (AUTO-MAGICALLY)
Turn your saved spots into a real itinerary. Have us instantly build day-by-day plans with YOUR saved places or manually create itineraries your way. Invite your travel crew to plan trips together! Everyone can add and edit places, live. Drag and drop your places into the order that makes sense, and see your whole trip laid out before you leave. Your pins become your plan.
ASK PLOTLINE: SEARCH BY VIBE
You saved that cafe for the vibe, not the name. Now find it the same way. Ask in your own words -- "a cozy cafe to work from," "an aesthetic photo spot," "cheap eats open now" -- and Plotline pins the best matches from your saves and the community on your map, each with a quick note on why it made the cut. Included with Plotline Premiere.
TRENDING HOT SPOTS
See what others are saving wherever you're going. Whether it's Anthony Bourdain's favorite döner spot, or the historic bookshop overlooking the castle -- see what's actually worth the hype with highlighted places in every city and 'tips from the community' to show you exactly what to order, how much it costs, or any other tips that you need to know.
SIDEQUESTS
Don't have a trip planned? Plotline builds one for you. Pick a city, swipe through spots -- your saves or places matched to your vibe -- and Plotline turns your favorites into a route for a day trip or an evening out. Spontaneous adventure without the decision fatigue.
YOUR MAP, YOUR TASTE
Browse your saved spots by city. Filter by eat, brew, sip, vibe, explore, or go. See everything across collections, saved cities, and references in one place. Track where you've been and what's still waiting.
MAKE IT YOURS
Add personal notes to any spot. Organize into collections by trip, city, or theme. Share collections with friends who are tired of asking "where should we eat?"
WHO IS PLOTLINE FOR?
You save more travel posts than you'll ever scroll back to find. You don't just want to know where -- you want to remember what to order, why it's special, and how to get there. You travel on taste, not templates. A 5-star rating is not enough. You need to know the vibe. If your saved folder is a graveyard of forgotten recommendations, Plotline turns it into your next trip.
Your feed was never just content. It was the first chapter. Plotline helps you write the rest.

This app makes it so easy to save places and activities I’ve seen on social media. I don’t have to make a separate folder or come back to look for it because it’s all saved in the app! Game changing. My only gripe is that the monthly cost is too much. I think I’d genuinely pay for this app monthly but not $10, more like $5 or below so I hope that changes in the future.

thanks for the review and glad you’re loving the app! the monthly cost is completely optional; we see that 95% of users never pay and continue using the app and the annual plan breaks down to $5/mo if you’re looking for a cheaper option! we’re also adding additional free functionality to make it even easier to add points manually. so don’t worry, we’ll continue making the free app better!
Overall good but has a lot of bugs & lag
lunrchive
I never tend to review apps, however when I saw this on tiktok I knew I needed it! It looked super convenient to send videos to plot points. One complaint I have is if you plot several points in a day, it will make you wait several hours before you can send a video to plot points again. You can do it manually through search, but I’ve found it’s sooo laggy. I have to open and close it multiple times to get to click the + button on things to add them to my plot points. It’s really frustrating and I hope they release an update to fix these bugs. Overall though, I really love this app!

thanks for the review and please know your input is well-received ✈️ we’re actively working on addressing the lag through search. You’ll be the first to know once we optimize it for our next version!

i wish i had this app years ago!! i was scrolling and saving through tiktok and ig constantly for my italy trip and creating an itinerary on my notes app (I KNOW SO SILLY) when this truly could’ve saved me the hours of doing so lol. the inside scoop is such a cool feature and the side quest tab is so fun! i’m already planning my next trip on here :)
Developer Response
ahh thanks so much czerina! love that you love the app. happy plotting ✈️
Clunky map
ChickenBalls67
I recently started using this app to plan my japan trip, however it can occasionally skip a few places from a video/slideshow (coming from tiktok). However, my main issue is that the map is very hard to move/navigate as the zoom feature is just frustrating. The concept of the app is great, but the way the map moves can be improved as it can make it hard to get to a certain location.
Developer Response
thanks for the feedback! we've made a few changes in our latest version -- both to be more comprehensive in saving places from TikTok specifically AND to address map usability on iOS 18. we're confident that both of these changes will have fixed the problems you're facing. please take a look and let us know what you think!
