Pluto is a highly refined and customizable at-a-glance system monitor for your Mac. Stay informed of what's really going on behind the scenes of your Mac without dropping what you're currently working on.
Pluto is a revolutionary new system monitor HUD that gives you a beautiful view into the internal workings of your Mac. Each intricately designed module can be individually disabled, pinned to collapsed mode, reordered and adjusted for detail. The charts show an overview of activity over the last 60 seconds.
Clicking on the collapse button (or double clicking the panel) can collapse it when you want less distraction and individual modules can be optionally set to remain visible in collapsed mode. Pluto can be collapsed to either the left side or the right side of the screen.
Choose from a variety of included themes or create your own with a few clicks using the built-in theme editor. Create a personalized desktop with both style and usability in mind.
Plenty of system monitors will display information in an obtrusive window or a nearly useless tiny view in the menu bar. We think you'll find Pluto's design is the perfect balance for a system monitor. It's a great tool for software developers and power users alike.
More modules & themes are coming soon. Submit your ideas & themes for inclusion.
Designed on Apple Silicon, works great with both Intel and Apple processors.

Pluto UI is limited
Pluto is a good idea yet the UI is too limited for right now for my use. I do very much like the concept, and also that the developer wrote a good timely response below.
Example: I use a maximum resolution MacBook Pro, and the charts on my screen are approximately 2cm tall, with some chart graph areas that are approximately 1mm tall, and font letters that are 2mm tall. I've adjusted the settings to maximum height, yet these are too short to for me to skim quickly. I prefer charts that are significantly taller, and fonts that are significantly larger, especially for displaying the most important information.
Example 2: there are multiple areas where the units are mixed, rather than consistent. The memory panel shows some items as GB, some as MB. The network pane shows uploads as MB versus downloads as GB. I prefer consistent units and decimals because for me it's easier and faster to skim visually. The developer below explains tht this is a system issue.
Example 3: the panel strip opens rightward, but not leftward. This means that when the closed panel is at te right of my screen, it opens nearly entirely off screen to the right. I keep my tools on the right, which means Pluto isn't usable for me at all as is. The UI could be inproved such that the panel opens in the direction that ensures the panel strip is all onscreen. The developer explains this is an Apple Swift limitation.
Developer Response ,
Hi - thank you for your feedback, please see replies below. Keep in mind this is version 1.0 and we will be adding features and improving from here.
1. You can already set a taller graph size in preferences and larger font support is planned.
2. The measurements are shown in the closest unit, ie. they intelligently adjust as needed, this is expected behavior system-wide.
3. We have just implemented this, it is coming in the next update!
Looks good when works, pretty high CPU usage
App is pretty buggy, sometimes the panels disappear.
Noticed that it generally eats a whole CPU core worth of CPU, which isn't worth it to me.
Developer Response ,
Can you contact us so we can look at what is going on? Do you have animations enabled? It should only be using about 2% or less of one CPU. Also we have not seen any disappearing module issues, please contact us at support at cyaneous.com. Thank you.
