The Project Management Institute (PMI®) offers the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential which is the most important, industry-recognized certification worldwide for project managers. This certificate adds to the market value of project managers as it ensures that the project managers have promising experience and education in the field. According to a survey by PMI®, the PMP test leads to an incremental growth in a project manager’s salary, thereby explaining the huge demand of the test.

In order to apply for the PMP test, you need to have:
• A certificate or a proof that you are an experienced project manager who is looking forward to solidifying skills in the area of project management.
• A high school or equivalent degree with at least 5 years work experience in project management consisting of 7500 hours of managing and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.
OR
• A bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of work experience with 4500 hours spent on directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.

Not bad

New comments: I have lowered my rating. Having used it for some time now, the number of typo's, wrong answers, and impossible to understand phrasing is pretty high. And, while they give you a chat window to report issues, there is no response from them. Whoever made this app does not seem to have English as their first language.

Original review: Dollar for dollar this is one of the better practice apps out there. The only problem is that it has a number of typo's and questions that just don't make sense. (Ex: "Issue logs are most what are updated.")

Pretty Good

I have 3 PMI certifications, and these questions are nothing like those on the exams. That being said, if you know your stuff, then you can answer most of these correctly

Great prep for pmp exam

I was a little skeptical on the pmp exam apps but I downloaded a couple and this one was my favorite to use. The questions are asked in a way that it prepares you for the exam. I upgraded to the $4.99 version of this app which was a great investment to have access to almost 500 exam questions. I would definitely recommend this app and paying the $5 for the upgrade to anyone that wants to prepare for the exam.
