Description
A virtual poetry museum on the museumsquare in Amsterdam, open 24 hours a day.
The Poëzie Museum is a virtual museum which is only visible on the Museumsquare in Amsterdam. It is initiated and realized by International Silence (Twan Janssen and Johannes Verwoerd). Using this app you can visit the museum 24 hours a day.
Dutch writer Anna Enquist selected the most beautiful poems of her favorite Dutch poets: Ida Gerhardt, Annie M.G. Schmidt, Gerrit Kouwenaar, Elly de Waard, Neeltje Maria Min, Leonard Nolens, Eva Gerlach, René Puthaar, Menno Wigman and Alfred Schaffer.
Of each poet 6 poems are being shown in its own virtual museum pavilion on the Museumsquare.
Since the poems are in Dutch, the app is in Dutch too.
