Blast back to the early days of gaming with Pocket Dogfights! A game of oldschool style arcade aerial combat, inspired by the days of 80's arcade gaming, when skill was all that mattered.

Fly the unfriendly skies to engage and destroy numerous waves of enemy fighters, jets & bombers. Collect power-ups from destroyed enemies to help turn the tide.

Take advantage of fluid mouse controls, or even plug in a gamepad (or even just use the keyboard) as you dodge enemy attacks, position yourself for the offensive and aim for the heights of the Game Center leaderboards!

What’s New

Version 1.1.2

Improved support for Xbox & PS3 controllers (please note that we've only tested with official controllers - if you do have a third party one which isn't working, please do let us know through our support email).

When using a gamepad, you can choose Directional or Rotational controls. Directional controls use the thumbstick to point the plane in the desired direction, whilst Rotational controls are used to turn left/right. These can be set from the Control Options menu when you've connected a game pad.

Again, if you're enjoying the update - please do leave us a rating in the App Store - it really does help out. Also, if you have a gamepad which isn't supported - do let us know, so we can look into improving support in later updates.

I don’t see any instructions on how to fly or shoot or use anything. There is a boost but not sure if that is active or how to activate it. There are powerups but it seems they are random. Not sure what other options there are. The mouse moves the plane but so do the arrow keys. Would be nice to be able to set the controls myself. Maybe allow the powerups to be selected instead of instantly used.
