"Pocket MELD Score Calculator: Liver Transplant Scoring" is a mobile app to calculate the Model For End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score for patients aged 12 and older. Model For End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD)score is a prospectively developed and validated chronic liver disease severity scoring system that uses a patient's laboratory values. In patients with cirrhosis, an increasing Model For End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score is associated with increasing severity of hepatic dysfunction and increased three-month mortality risk. In this app, you can also calculate the paediatric version of MELD score (PELD score) which is used for children aged less than 12 years old.
