Ratings and Reviews
Upon fist use, pop up of an adult companion dating website flew up right in front of my 2-year old, along with urging to buy the ad-free version. You would think the coding geniuses could figure out how to mate content to the audience. Black eye for Pokeyo. Shame on the developers. Irresponsible. I'm very liberal, but not when it comes to adult ads in front of my 2 year old on a kid's game. If you are the game publisher reading this, fire yourself and fire your ad company.
Full of ads
I can't even test drive this on my 4 month old because she would just be distracted by the ads. I would have been fine with limited content and would have paid for more if the baby enjoyed the app. As it is I just deleted it without using it. Baby apps and ads don't mix!
Don't make a free app covering it ALL up with ads
For a children's interactive book this is ridiculous. I received a pop up from another app saying this was free (usually a paid app) so thought I would try it. I understand if it is a "lite" version or a normal "free" (as in all the time, give the short version a try and upgrade) app that there would be ads but this is just over the top. Ads are over the actual words. You can't read the book on your own. And ads pop up over the whole story- every page and on the illustrations too. For an interactive book app this is dumb considering the content is for young children who will touch anything within the story in order to see the cause and effect.
It makes me want to never buy from this developer at all much less simply upgrade the one app. Glad my little one does not know this has been added so she will not be disappointed that I am deleting it. You can tempt the horse with a carrot so to speak but not if the carrot tastes like crap.
