* If you add RSS data to your episode, it will now be exported to a file (named "tags.rss") when you export the podcast file itself * Entered RSS data is now preserved if you close the RSS data window

* Added a warning when a chapter URL contains characters which can not be saved in the MP3 file. Click the error indicator to get a description of the problem. Podcast Chapters can also remove the disallowed characters. This will make the URL incorrect, but could be helpful for comparing with the original to see what caused the problem. Podcasting 2.0 certified! Podcast Chapters can now generate podcast namespace tags for your RSS feeds. All tags available on individual episodes are supported: season, episode, person, soundbite, transcript, and location can all be entered. If your podcast host supports adding extra tags to your feed, or if you fully control your feed, this is for you! It's very early days for these tags and their support in Podcast Chapters, so if you don't know why you need them you most likely don't :-) … If you do find them useful, please tell me about it! I have a lot more ideas for improvements and new features if this turns out to be popular.

Podcast Chapters is now free to use with up to five chapters. Unlocking unlimited chapters is a one-time in-app purchase. If you already paid for the app, you automatically have unlimited chapters, just like you always have.

When exporting to JSON, you now have the option to make the exported JSON file compatible with the new podcasting RSS namespace JSON chapters format. This is for early adopters of new standards: if you rely on the old JSON format you should continue using it for now. The two formats are close but not identical, so if you switch you will also need to update whatever tool consumes your JSON. You will need to check the box for using the new format each time you export. This is intentional. The generated web player page is not yet compatible with the new format.
