Podcast Archiver 4+

This works as described and for 99% of people it's probably enough. But personally I'd also like to archive the podcast show notes. A lot of shows have a lot of useful info and links in the show notes and that data is visible in Apple Podcasts.

I'm guessing the question would be where to store it. It's too much data to fit into an ID3 tag but maybe it could live in iCloud.

I'm probably going to have to write my own archiver at some point soon.

If you like to save Podcasts for future use, this is your app. Easy to use interface lets you archive podcasts wherever you want with no hassle AND it can even identify what you've already downloaded and fill in the holes in your collection (i.e. download the new stuff from chosen podcasts all at once with one button push). For me this was an extremely satisfying purchase. Thanks so much!

A recent issue seems to be I'm accumulating duplicates of some Podcasts, it looks like when the publisher or Apple changes something on their end though...not really a software issue, though I wish there was an update that could help us out

I’m guessing the duplicates are due to the author changing the title, resulting in a change of the file name. If you send me an email with more info I’m happy to take a look.

UPDATE: Months later and one of my fave podcasts randomly pulled everything except the last few years. So glad I have this app so I didn't lose access to some great podcast memories! Works perfectly and easy to use after figuring out the settings the first time. ORIGINAL: This app works great for archiving Patreon podcasts. The interface is simple enough to learn and the app works in a transparent and obvious way. I wish I'd had this app 10 years ago - before this, I lost access to a lot of great pods over the year as hosting went down, etc. THANK YOU! Recommended.
