Poesi offers a collection of English and German poetry from the Middle Ages all the way to the 20th century. The app contains over 1300 German and over 1000 English poems, all carefully selected and in quotable form for scientific use. You can select a poem language after the first app launch and expand the app to read poems in the other language afterwards.

You can find original German versions of poems by Goethe, Schiller, Heine, Eichendorff, Hesse, Lasker-Schüler and English poems by Whitman, Blake, Wordsworth and many more – the collection is constantly growing. Poesi also features full-text search, filtering options as well as both a „Random poem“ and a „Poem of the day“ function. The underlying database is accessible offline and new poems can by synchronized free of charge.

Poesi is now international! With this update, you will find many new poems to discover in one fell swoop - as well as new features. All new features at a glance:

• Select English poetry after launching the app for the first time and dive into the history of British and American poetry
