Description
As you may know, pointillism is a form of painting developed in the late 19th century branching from Impressionism, in which small dots are applied in patterns to form a picture. And a pointillist, who paints with pointillism, usually needs to spend months to paint the hundreds of thousands of tiny dots. But now with the Pointillist, you can "paint" your photo into a work of pointillism art just in seconds.
With it, you can select a photo from the album or the camera, and the Pointillist will render the photo into pointillism for you. Zoom in/out to view your artwork and adjust the painting according to your flavor. When finished, you can save, mail, print, or share your masterpiece on Facebook and Twitter.

It works...
Does what it says, but there seem to be very few pictures that still look good after applying this effect... for the most part the images look like a poorly applied photoshop filter. It's pretty simple, but maybe I'm just not using it right... either way, for the average user I don't think you'll see a lot of awe-inspiring results from this app.
Part of what's so cool about pointilism art is stepping back and admiring the image, and only noticing that it's made up of lots of tiny dots when you look closely... this app makes it very clear that you're making an image out of dots... maybe the dots are too big, but whatever the reason, it doesn't have the same impressive effect as the handmade artwork.

it’s a very simple app but it gets the job done! if you like the idea of the pointillism effect, this app can definitely do it
I’d suggest not....
There are too few settings for this application to appropriately modify your photos. Pretty disappointed.
