Most poker odds calc apps are nowhere as powerful as PokerCruncher. Some don't even support random hands (let alone hand ranges), some don't let you enter hands for multiple players, some make an incomplete attempt at hand ranges, …

PokerCruncher is the full real deal, more powerful than even the PC's PokerStove application.

Poker is a game of incomplete information; we need to put our opponents on **ranges of hands**. PokerCruncher surpasses even PokerStove's features, e.g. range equity breakdown heat maps and hand combo stats, range equity distribution graphs, many top x% hand orderings, %age weights in hand ranges, and filter range. Full grid of all 169 starting hands (also text field entry), top x% of hands slider, extensive built-in hand ranges, save/load and export/import hand ranges, select suits and hand combos (weights) in hand ranges, …

What’s New

Version 12.5.1

Educational additions: videos and blogs, a great new recommended pro/coach: Alec Torelli (ConsciousPoker.com), and a Coaches & Pros webpage … to help you use PokerCruncher more effectively and improve your game.

1) Links to videos and blogs on PokerCruncher (by pros/coaches) directly inside the app:

Help menu --> Featured Videos & Blogs --> …

For example the “The Best Way to Study Poker” video and blog by Alec Torelli are must sees in our opinion. Also see our website’s (improved) Tutorials & Videos page.

2) A great new recommended poker pro/coach:

Alec Torelli (ConsciousPoker.com)

Alec uses PokerCruncher in his work/analysis and has created some excellent videos and teaching material (e.g. the “The Best Way to Study Poker” video and blog mentioned above). If you want to learn how to use PokerCruncher effectively, how to read hands and ranges better, and improve your overall game, we recommend checking out Alec's videos/teaching-material/coaching. We ourselves (including me RJ) have learned a lot from Alec's videos and teaching material e.g. his funnel system for reading hands and ranges. Do check him out!

3) A separate Coaches & Pros page on our website, and a link to this page inside the app:

Help menu --> Coaches & Pros

We’re very happy that some really good pros/coaches like these guys are using PokerCruncher and have created some great teaching material. Do check them out, including our newest addition Alec Torelli.

===== Previous Update Version 12.4.1 =====
* Improvements to the Range Manager view (new keyboard shortcuts) to enable us to work with quick-saved hand ranges even faster. And a matching improvement to the Quick-Load Hand Range button.

If you like PokerCruncher and our continuing work, please consider writing an App Store review, thanks!

Uncertain again ,

Useful and easy to use

I am pleased that I purchased this app. I have written programs to do part of what the program does, but the interface does it much easier. Particularly useful to me have been the Slansky-Malmuth hand-groups.

Solid App - Learning curve but worth the investment

I just purchased the app yesterday and have been playing around with it for the day now. I have been looking for a Mac solution ( I tried flopzilla on a trial with Crossover - product that lets you run windows programs - and now that expired and i would have to go through paying for not only that $35 and crossover whatever that cost). Plus its complicated im not good with computers so i have to unistall a bunch of stuff etc. This is just out of the box. It is slightly less intuitive than Flopzilla but there is definitely some added functionality and the ability to calculate equities similar to poker stove which i couldn’t figure out on flopzilla. Definitely a slight learning curve but nothing a few hours messing shouldnt get you through. Everything works great and I believe there are tutorials in the interface (I haven’t tried it just keeps prompting me to use them)
The point (if you take the time to learn how to use this, do a little research from good sources on why you use this tool and how) you will make back the money on the table. certainly without a doubt worth $40 and competitively priced with similar products.
I used flopzilla before this so I had a little bit of an understanding what I was looking at so slight disclaimer if you are completely new to these products be patient and watch some tutorials on how and why to use these things before you get discouraged.

Works very well!

There is definitely a learning curve to using the app effectively. I'm fairly new in my poker journey but, even at my level, the app is helping me understand poker hand probablilites. Very satisfied.
