This update adds extra clarification in the UI for the behavior of the “View Card Removal Effect” setting, and adds an info. alert for an important usage-case.
The extra clarification, in the “View Card Removal Effect” setting’s tooltip and Help section, is that this setting takes *card removal effects* into account, but not *range removal effects*. So if you enter a player’s specific hand as a *hand range* (e.g. you enter “AsKh” in a player’s hand range text field), then this player’s hand won’t be in the scope of the “View Card Removal Effect” setting because this player doesn’t have any specific cards, he has a hand range.
To solve this, enter the player’s specific hand as *2 specific cards* from the *card deck*.
In addition to the extra clarification in the UI and an info. alert for the above usage-case, this update adds a new menu button “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Features” in the “Help” menu. This new FAQ section on our website’s Tutorials & Videos page has more information on this issue.

Ratings and Reviews
Useful and easy to use
I am pleased that I purchased this app. I have written programs to do part of what the program does, but the interface does it much easier. Particularly useful to me have been the Slansky-Malmuth hand-groups.
Solid App - Learning curve but worth the investment
I just purchased the app yesterday and have been playing around with it for the day now. I have been looking for a Mac solution ( I tried flopzilla on a trial with Crossover - product that lets you run windows programs - and now that expired and i would have to go through paying for not only that $35 and crossover whatever that cost). Plus its complicated im not good with computers so i have to unistall a bunch of stuff etc. This is just out of the box. It is slightly less intuitive than Flopzilla but there is definitely some added functionality and the ability to calculate equities similar to poker stove which i couldn’t figure out on flopzilla. Definitely a slight learning curve but nothing a few hours messing shouldnt get you through. Everything works great and I believe there are tutorials in the interface (I haven’t tried it just keeps prompting me to use them)
The point (if you take the time to learn how to use this, do a little research from good sources on why you use this tool and how) you will make back the money on the table. certainly without a doubt worth $40 and competitively priced with similar products.
I used flopzilla before this so I had a little bit of an understanding what I was looking at so slight disclaimer if you are completely new to these products be patient and watch some tutorials on how and why to use these things before you get discouraged.
Effective tool for study
This is a valuable app for studying the game of poker. It runs smoothly on Mac OS and I have the iPhone version to use when I’m away from my desk, which is also a great tool to use. I appreciate the 1-time pay license structure.
