Ratings and Reviews
I’m rating a four based on polar pros other products.
Downloaded app as soon as I heard about it. This app crashes every time I try and use the filter calculator. very cool app but I needed the calculator function above every other option on the app. Please remedy the app ASAP. I use polar pro products on my drones for commercial work exclusively so this app would make a welcomed addition to my workflow once it is optimized for the iPhone X! Thanks and keep up the good work
Screen size problems
The last two app versions are incompatible with small screen sizes, displaying a screen message stating this when you try to boot the app.
This app is nothing more than a specialized calculator that does not have a large amount of screen information, and it should be a simple programming feat for PolarPro to be able to produce an app update that accommodates any size iPhone screen. I use hundreds of apps, and have never seen such a problem.
Something to think about PolarPro: you manufacture good filters, but are you waiting for competitors to move in and make your software irrelevant?
It Will Help If You Know How To Use It
There is a lot of information provided by this app, but it takes quite a while to understand how to use it. It is better to know what information you want from it, then find the right tool in its kit.
It does help, but needs more new-user friendly instruction for folks just starting to understand what an ND filter can do, and when to use one.
• Update to developers: You said that you were working on my suggestions to make the app instruction easier, and you have done some helpful things there. However, you also said that you would include landscape mode for iPads. What happened there?
• To the developers: Please include iPad-friendly landscape mode. Many (most?) of us use landscape mode primarily. I tend to toss apps that force me to use vertical mode.
Developer Response ,
Great feedback! We appreciate your suggestions and will try to include some more information surrounding the calculations and Landscape mode on an iPad. Developers are working on it now :)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
