Description
The official Polestar Connect app bridges the gap between driver and vehicle, allowing you to connect to the Polestar 1. This requires that you have a Polestar 1. With the Polestar Connect app you will be able to:
• Check vehicle dashboard statuses, such as fuel or battery level, trip meters, and more.
• Control your parking heater.
• Control your cabin climate.
• Locate your vehicle on a map or use the horn and indicators.
• Check the current status of doors, windows, and locks.
• Lock and unlock the Polestar 1 remotely.
• Request roadside assistance from within the app.
• Edit your driving journal, categorize trips as business or private, merge trips, rename and send to email contact.
• Analyze your routes with map view and statistics such as fuel and/or battery consumption, as well as speed.
• Even though you do not currently own a Polestar 1 car, you can still install the App and try the demo mode.

Stop working can’t connect to car
The app work for some time, then suddenly just stop working, every time that a login is attempted it goes back to the main screen.

This decision is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services and user experience. We understand the convenience these features have provided and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Not certain how a brand like this pretend that people buy a car from them to then drop a simple functionality / app like this, this certainly show no commitment to Customers which is something certainly to share with people interested in this brand to help them to stay with more established brands that will maintain a good level of support as is expected.
Update this app please.
App worked fine and then suddenly can’t sign in. If you go to the trouble to build a classic car you have to take care of those who committed to the product.
Polestar 1 Basic App Utility
The Polestar 1 app is required if you have a Polestar 1 vehicle, and you cannot unfortunately use the more updated and feature rich standard Polestar app for its other cars.
For this app, it has the general basics, such as status of your Polestar 1 (Fuel/Battery and location), remote locking/unlocking, remote start, climate status and a driving journal.
It is buggy with any preconditioning options or climate controls, battery status shows paused and doesn’t update when on a DC fast charge or quicker A/C charge.
It seems this app has been left behind and forgotten about by the developers and the brand.
