The top rated door knocking app. Polis was created by canvassers for canvassers. It makes managing your field operations (canvassing, door knocking, etc) easy.
Door-knocking managers spend hours training volunteers, creating walk lists and entering data into spreadsheets. Polis automates logistics, data management and progress reports so your staff can spend more time in front of people and less time behind spreadsheets.
Canvassers love using Polis for their door knocking because it’s easy to use and was designed by fellow canvassers. Anyone with a smartphone can use Polis.
Polis is perfect for political campaigns, door-to-door sales organizations (i.e. construction, solar, energy, home repair, retail, cable, insurance, etc.), non-profits, church groups, and anyone else who is door knocking and needs an easy, effective tool that will maximize efficiency.

Polis has made managing my team so much easier!
Polis has helped me manage my door to door team for about a month now! Easy to use. I can see where my team members are when they are out knocking doors!
Does not work on iPad
I really need to have this app working on a tablet, not a smart phone, to be effective. Phones are too small to be able to enter data efficiently and accurately, and the small phone screen is virtually impossible to see in the glare of sunlight - and canvassing is done outside. Also, the pale gray lines that outline the box for data entry are difficult to see in even the best light, so locating the box when outdoors requires hit-or-miss pecking that risks screwing up the entry altogether. Some updates like the button that lets you mark off multiple members of a household when nobody is home is useful. However, you still need to check carefully to insure that the gps has id’d the correct house when entering a new contact because the house number, and sometimes even the street name, may be incorrect.
Developer Response ,
Hello! Thank you for your suggestion.
We do have an app that works on iPad and should have been available for you to download and use, so we're having a hard time understanding the primary concern here and would love some further clarification.
With your concern about checking gps and ensuring the houses are correct- this is largely controlled by the org you are canvassing for and in most cases wouldn't be something that the app has shown incorrectly. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reach out to the org you are canvassing for to check their data sources.
I hope this answers your questions and concerns. If it does, a higher rating would be highly appreciated! If it doesn't, please contact us directly at email@example.com and let us know what else we can do to help out!
