Polk Audio makes great-sounding, whole-home wireless audio systems for smartphones and tablets, including the iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch. Using DTS's breakthrough Play-Fi(TM) technology, you can stream your favorite tunes over Wi-Fi right from the app to the Polk Omni S2 speakers, Omni SB1 soundbar system, Omni P1 adapter, and/or the Omni A1 amplifier. It's a huge step up from Bluetooth - the audio quality and reliability are outstanding, and you can enjoy music from your phone in one room, or all your rooms.
The "Hi-Fi over Wi-Fi" listening experience is just a touch away, thanks to this handy app. Choose a speaker, choose a song, and your favorite tunes are streaming all through the house.
The app offers built-in streaming options: use Pandora, Songza, Deezer, Internet radio, DLNA servers, or play anything from your iTunes music library, including your playlists. The app automatically organizes and indexes the music for you.
The app also handles set-up for your speakers, and gives you full control of volume and speaker selection. Choose one, or stream to all of them at once.
Please note that the Omni app is companion software to the Polk Omni wireless collection enabled with Play-Fi technology. It is not intended as a stand-alone audio player.

• Play-Fi Playlists: Save any queue of songs from any of our music services as a Play-Fi Playlist to easily recall your custom track lists
• More Play-Fi devices now support Works With Alexa

Buggy and useless
After a month of fighting to get two Omni S2 speakers to work as a surround pair to my Omni bar (which sounds amazing), I decided to surrender and return the two rear speakers because of the buggy WiFi implementation that has made so many customers very mad. Years of customer complains and Polk seems incapable of fixing it! What a shame....the system does sound great...
Like many others, it takes me hours to get the speakers connected and to create a surround group. Then, for no apparent reason, both rear speakers disconnect from the WiFi (sometimes a couple of hours later) and it takes HOURS to get it to work again. So frustrating! This issues have been reported since 2014... yes, 2014!
I feel bad for the sound engineering team at Polk Audio, who managed to create such a good sound product just to see the system fail in the market due to incompetence by the software team.
Terrible setup process
I don’t care about sound quality, having a smart device, etc. I just want a clear setup process that tells me 1) how to connect the sound bar and subwoofer wirelessly to my tv, 2) how to use my tv remote with the speaker.
I’m never going to use the speaker to play music over it via my phone or tablet and I’m never using it outside of it playing my tv audio. And what does DTS mean? This acronym is everywhere and there’s no explanation. Please do some product testing with people that don’t setup speakers often and watch what they do.
App is the worst. Zero stars!
Not sure what the problem is...... I cannot get the speaker to play more than 2-3 songs before it just stops. I have to swipe up on the app and re-open the app and connect to the speaker before another song will play. Speaker sounds great but I don’t know how to play any music fro
My phone without this terrible app. Can anyone tell me how? Thanks.
