I’ve been sending money for 30 years and Pomelo is hands down the best remittance app by a mile! I can send money instantly and pay it a month later like a credit card. I’m also earning points like a credit card. With Pomelo, my credit score has gone up too. Astig!

i didn’t want to put one star but there’s no option for zero stars. so i signed up back in march this year, they had me put in a deposit and i’ve used it twice in march and april. i sent 2 small amounts, not even half of what i deposited. then in may they start badgering me to pay an overdue bill. i took care of it. and then, last month- october, i noticed that they reported me to the credit bureaus as delinquent. they owe me my deposit money, i still sent in a payment yet months later they report my account. i tried many times reaching out thru the app and email but could not get thru. i finally found the actual pomelo card that has their phone number printed in the most inaccessible, illegible, gray on white tiny font. after many attempts, i spoke with a staff who upon checking my account apologized and escalated my issue for me to be refunded and for them to remove the credit bureau hit. it’s been more than 2 weeks and i’ve followed up but they keep saying somebody will reach out to me but no one has. this is a very shady company. i regret ever getting involved with them. this is such a scam.

This app is a waste of time, very bad customer service to the point they will not reply to you anymore. its crazy that you need to make a deposit to establish a credit limit. And youre not suppose to touch that deposit. Then you end up owing money lol In order for you to send 600$+ need a deposit of 500$++ lol then you send money, after that it will say that you need to pay the money you sent coz “youre not supposed to touch the deposit” Terrible idea Ive been using other remittance app but this one, i dont recommend it, trust me it will save you the problem a many months problem with them.I end up calling help from my bank to dispute it, they will ban you from commenting in facebook and you will have a hard time closing that acct, dont even start to open one

I used the app one time it worked fine. Now I’m having issues. It will not accept neither one of my three debit cards, while identfying them as credit cards. They are telling me to call my bank and ask my bank to accept their transactions. I called my bank. My bank says they do not see a recent request for a withdrawal to Pomelo. The other issue that I’m having today is the fact that when it asked me if I wanted to install the new upgrade and I responded in the affirmative, suddenly my app does not open. It goes to the screen and it freezes.
